"They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."

"We could not be happier with choosing Unique Indoor Comfort for our new HVAC system. We found this company by being referred by a client of my husbands. The original duct work in our house was extremely undersized, over working our unit and not creating good airflow to reach the third floor of our town home. Reni came out to our home, and took the time to explain to me options with Unique to really make our new HVAC unit/system efficient and comfortable temperatures in our house. "I had a very negative and unprofessional experience with Horizon Services. I signed a contract with them. When it was time to service my AC unit, they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it, only to cancel and reschedule it again, and yet they did it again! They cancelled my AC maintenance appointment three times over nearly a month period. The scheduler kept cancelling the appointment a few minutes before the appointment time, which was very inconvenient for me because I had to be home every time they scheduled. After the third cancellation, I asked the scheduler to escalate the case to a supervisor which he told me he did. But the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called again and escalated again, still the Horizon customer service manager never called me back. I called at least twice after that and was told that my case was already escalated to a female manager, but still she never called me back. All I got from the Horizon phone operators was repeated empty promises that “someone will call you back in 12 hours, etc.” But they never called back to commit to either providing the AC maintenance service or cancelling my contract and refunding my money in full. What makes matters worse is that none of the Horizon Services phone operators who answered my repeated calls was able to transfer me to a manager to speak with in real time. These operators said that they could only “email the senior manager or the concern department”. What a disappointment, and what a lousy excuse to ignore a contracted customer. I truly regret hiring Horizon Service and signing a contract with them and I will never recommend them to anyone. The failure by Horizon Services to provide the AC maintenance per the contractual agreement (it’s now mid-summer and my aging AC unit was not serviced to date) and the fact that their customer service manager never bothered to respond to my repeated phone complaints speak volumes about the unprofessional way they have treated me."
