Zoom Drain

From the second I called Zoom Drain they were the most professional, prompt and thorough company. We had our main line sewer break, they were out first thing in the morning for a quote. The following day we called them back (they gave us the BEST quote by far) to have them come do the work and though they had a busy schedule they fit us in the very next morning! The job ended up being quite more extensive than originally thought however they worked EXTREMELY hard for 2 solid days to fix our problem. They left our home well after dark in the bitter cold better than they found it by far. I could not recommend them higher! Start to finish if we ever had another plumbing issue I would call no one else. They made an extremely stressful situation into something manageable. Thank You Zoom Drain!!!!

Very prompt and professional. Marcus and Roy completed the repair work, and additional sump drain work in a single day. Keven and Alex were very helpful in securing financing for the project. In all great job all around and we couldn’t be happier.

The Zoom Drain employee said he could not clear the line and it was broken. I hired another company the next day, and they cleared the line successfully. Steve Martino said he would refund my money if I sent him the invoice of the second company. I did, and Steve Martino responded on May 13, "Yes this will work! We will start refund process now!" I have tried to prompt him to issue the refund three times since May. He has totally ignored me.

Last night I spent $189 for a Zoom tech to bag in the lid of a drum trap attached to the drain for my old tub. Tub wasn’t completely clogged ... just drained slow. The tech banged on the drum trap lid, in order to get it off and use the snake, for close to 2 hours ... no luck. After 2 hours of getting nowhere and for fear of him harming the plumbing (he already warmed me that if the pipe cracked, he wasn’t responsible), I asked him to admit defeat and stop. Was willing to pay him something for his efforts, but after he talked to his supervisor, they came up with the diagnostic fee of $189!!! Here’s the good part! The next morning, I just happened to notice a plumber working across the street on my neighbor’s sewer line ... one of those family run plumbing companies. I explained to him what my problem was and who had already tried to fix it. He smiled and said he’d be over after he was done with my neighbor’s sewer line. He walked into my house at 12:47pm ... he sat his tools down on my bathroom, after inspecting the situation, at 12:48pm. He gathered his tools to leave at 12:55pm ... AND MY TUB DRAIN WAS FIXED!!! I asked how he was able to diagnose and fix it so fast. His response was, years of experience and knowing there’s more than one way to fix a plumbing problem! In the future, Zoom will be the absolute last people I will call ... I will call the family owned plumbing company with many years of experience passed down through the generations.

Excellent service. Zoom responded to my call promptly and had someone to my house the same afternoon. The person who came was thorough, professional, and helpful. He shared a detailed evaluation of our pipe from the house to the street, and adhere to all of the current mask/distancing protocols. I was thoroughly impressed.

Ben was professional, punctual, knowledgeable and gave us the best scenario to have township respond to sewer issue on a Sunday (call 9-1-1 to dispatch Public Works.) The relief when we followed his instructions saved our house. That and owning a pool pump, which we used in the utility tub, to suck the water outside. Otherwise we'd be a foot deep in sewage. A good ending to an awful situation. Thank you to Ben, and Zoom Drain, for your suggestion to resolve our issue by referring us to the local township.

While their was company was fine with the estimate and came out within a timely manner, about 2-4 hours, I'm just going with a company that has a lower rate. I liked that he was respectful and wore the booties when he came out to look at my sink.

The technician was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He found that the clog was due to another underlying issue and explained the options available. The clog was cleared and I'm in the process of getting the other issue taken care of with Zoom too.

Good work but over 500.00 that’s crazy.

Great service. I spoke to the dispatcher at 8pm on a Friday before a holiday requesting emergency service for my clogged sewer line. Nadir (the tech) was finishing up in my area and stopped by to help. They snaked my line from the house to the street for $380 and by 10pm they were finished and pulling out of my driveway. Great service and personality. Also, he informed me of a possible future issue without being the pushy salesman.

Zoom Drain was great !! Everything was explained by Rob on Friday when he came out. Service was provided the day we called due to hearing gurgleing in the kitchen sink when the toilet was flushed. Rob found a blockage in the drain box outside our house which he cleared. On Sunday we found that we were still having some brief water backup into our basement laundry tub when the bathroom toilet was flushed, Kyle came out that afternoon and determined that part of the issue was that the Municipal Sanitary Drain was running slow. Kyle even pulled the Municipal Manhole cover in the street to confirm that the water level was much higher than expected. He spent the time to make sure our drain was as clear as possible and even called our local borough office to inform them that the Municipal drain seemed to have a blockage. We saw a truck on our street this morning and were informed that a large grease plug was found in the municipal drain on the street next to ours. They cleared it on Sunday night and were checking the line upstream from where the plug was to make sure everything was clear. Thank You Kyle. Thank you Zoom Drain Norristown. Highly recommended !!

Smooth easy and quick. When we had the leak I had then come in late in the day and they were okay with coming around 8PM. They couldn’t finish the work given the time. But they left a temporary fix until the following Monday. We were able to use the tub no problem while we waited. A bit pricy but great work guys.

Although I did have to prove to the repairman after he unclogged the drain and said he was finished, that there was still a leak by putting a paper towel underneath the pipe. 15 minutes later after going to his truck 3 times, he found the leak and stopped it. Then the job was done. The price was fixed depending on the problem. Time had nothing to do with the price. He was here less than 30 minutes.

The pipes were PVC and the snake damaged the pipe and we had to dig up and replace the line. At the time, I did not consider that they had caused the break. But, in the end, knowing the whole story, I realize it was their fault. However, the tech whe responded to my call was friendly, took his time, and did his best to resolve the problem.

Chris showed up for the job on time, professional, get the job done within half an hour. In addition, he did not try to sell me other product like the Technician from Montco Rooter Plumbing and Drain tried to ask me to buy their package deals...Overall, it was good experience, but little pricey for 1/2 hour work for clearing the clog for a yard drain.

This was a second opinion for the cost of installing a clean-out so we could get our clogged drain snaked. When they got there, they said we didn't need a clean-out because there was already a clean-out. They snaked the drain and all is well. From the time I looked for a quote on Angie's List to the time they finished the job was just about 2 hours. ZOOM is right! Great fast service, and they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need (which has been my experience lately with plumbers).

the company contacted me before the scheduled appointment time with a courtesy reminder. The serviceman arrived, accessed the situation and discovered that my issue wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. He instructed as to how to clean and maintain my drain cover and trap and he gave me two estimates for future service if my problem persisted or became worst. I was amazed at his promptness, honesty and professionalism. I will be recommending and calling Zoom again if and when needed.

It didn’t. We had a clogged toilet / bath tub situation in our guest bathroom. Have had it cleaned before but wanted to give Zoom a shot. Given a 12-4pm window. Tech showed up at 7pm. Said it would be an easy fix then quoted us a “flat menu pricing” fee of almost $500 to fix. Bunch of BS. Trying to take advantage of us late in the day after waiting around all day. Rather have **** sit in my bathtub for another day then take this ****. Called another provider and got is fixed for $99 (with a one year guarantee) from another provider the next day. This review will probably never see the light of day since “no money was paid nor services rendered” but I would steer clear of Zoom.

Wouldn't provide an estimate over the phone. I was reluctant to waste someone's time to come out if they couldn't ballpark it but they insisted on pricing it free of charge. Estimate for cleaning EACH drain was $220 - $440 total. I declined. Hired a local plumber for the job. Drains cleaned out and flowing freely for a total cost of $80.
