"A great experience from start to finish! Five star all the way! The estimate was done by D0nna who was punctual, knowledgeable, experienced and pleasant. Her follow-up communication was excellent. The estimate was detailed and fair. Communications/interactions with owner/managers Steve and Mike were always a positive experience. They are very knowledgeable about the hardwood flooring business and were a pleasure to work with. Installers Charles and Craig were excellent at their craft. They were punctual, worked hard the whole day, and cleaned up at the end. We were very happy with every aspect of the flooring they installed. The flooring that we had installed was a natural pre-finished select red oak from the Hardwood Outlet in Penfield. The folks there, Oz and Levant, were very helpful and accommodating in helping us choose the flooring that would best fit our needs. We took home numerous samples before making our final selection. Like Rochester Hardwood Floors, the Hardwood Outlet is a quality operation. All around, this was a great experience and we are very happy with the quality and value of the finished product. Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.
