"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. I was able to observe the concrete slab rising to be leveled off with surrounding stable slabs in the patio. As promised several days were given to allow for the concrete to dry and then men returned to install flexible polyurethane caulking to seal the concrete slabs control joints."

"Horrible experience. Botched job!! Day one after construction I asked someone to please come look at the job!! Steve blew me off until time to collect final payment. Then tried to tell me it was acceptable job. After two attempts to fix some of the issues. We felt defeated. Then Don Harr called , ask about how it went. He immediately came out to look, after looking the problem was reveled, First, the OSB board was installed wrong, which made everything not line up correctly. He also stated that he had recommended another installer to do our job, He admitting to the fact that Steve was too busy and changed what he had proposed for our job. At that point we threw our hand up ?? What were we to do tear it all off and start over ??? I was lead to believe that Steve was in charge, latter found out we should have called Don from day one. Don was the only truthful one if the bunch!! Even the Window and Gutter installer’s called Steve about the job after they saw the condition ."

I used to use another area service that had been highly rated. However, that business is now being run by a son who no longer thinks it's important to answer calls. In desperation, I looked up other chimney sweeps in the area and luckily picked The Chimney Man and Son. He came out to the property very promptly and gave my chimney the most thorough cleaning it has ever had. I have a wood insert that I use for supplemental heating over the winter, so I do burn a lot more and it's important to me to have a safe system. I was blown away by the attention to detail and to the point by point inspection. I was also blow away by the price. My chimney and firebox were both inspected and cleaned, and I paid $130 for the total service. I will definitely use this service again!"
