"We hired Remodel Works to remodel our kitchen and guest bath and create a bar. We reviewed them in March 2018 and revised it a few days ago. Unbeknownst to us, the original review had to be replaced; only 1 review per business/customer. This revision is to provide a whole review of our experience. In short, we feel very good about recommending RemodelWorks to anyone needing to remodel their space. Our experience from beginning to end (approximately 7 weeks) was excellent! The project was completed by the scheduled completion date. Our experience with the whole Remodel Works team was top-notch! *** Design by John DeLuca involved many adjustments to design which resulted to a collaborated outcome: a kitchen, dry bar and guest bath like no other! John responded to a quote request, met us and discussed our needs. In that same initial meeting, John lost no time and stayed another couple of hours to make initial measurements to use in putting the draft design together. We needed this project to be completed before we left on vacation. John was enthusiastic about our project and saw the feasibility to meet our deadline. He collaborated with the project team. John ensured the whole team understood this top requirement. He sold us on his design and Remodel Works' quality service with peppered pistachios and a true commitment. *** We were very impressed once again when we were presented with a construction schedule. "Never having used Angi's before, we were shocked to receive such an immediate response to our request for help in replacing some badly broken tiles in our kitchen. We listed the job on a Saturday night, got a call from John (JB Tile & Stone) on Sunday morning, and the following morning he was at our house to discuss what we needed done. Since we only had about a dozen replacement tiles (and they were no longer available if we needed more) we were understandably nervous but appreciated his honesty on the challenges of removing the broken ones without damaging the ones we needed to leave in place. Based on his obvious experience and the reviews we read from satisfied customers, we decided to go ahead with the project. Our confidence in his abilities was more than justified. The work took place over 3 mornings. He arrived early and did exactly what he said he was going to do each day, i.e. carefully removing the broken tiles and old adhesives, then setting the new ones in place and finally grouting the newly tiled areas. We could not be more pleased with the end result and consider ourselves lucky that John was the one who responded to our call for help."

"Over the last two years we have enjoyed the kitchen and bathroom remodeling work and room addition that SDD&R did for us in the summer of 2016. Our family room has become our main place to hang out and the remodeled kitchen and new family room have been the center of a number of family gatherings and celebrations. Jeremy and Eric were great to work with on this project. They encouraged us to remove a kitchen wall to open it to the dining room and we are so happy we did. They also worked with us to resolve some issues we had with the original house design (i.e., replaced water lines that were in the slab with new lines through the attic, upgraded the electric circuits to the kitchen, included a raised slab for our room addition to address a grade problem in our back yard). With our initial input, they prepared suggested designs and layouts for our kitchen and bathroom remodels, and then we worked with them to revise these to exactly what we wanted in the finished product. Once these designs were finalized, they provided us with firm costs for the project, which were very competitive and a great value. They also provided us with several references at which we checked out the work that they had been done. Based on these references, we believed that Jeremy and Eric could deliver the finished product, and we liked the designs and costs, so we proceeded to contract with them. They directed us to a separate design company to prepare the drawings for the room addition. They provided us a list of what products we needed to pick out (e.g., plumbing fixtures, paint colors, tile, lighting, ceiling fans, kitchen and bathroom accessories) and a schedule for when they would need them. Also, they utilized a number of sub-contractors (e.g., tile, roof, framing, stucco, countertops, cabinets, painting) that provided great finished products. They also coordinated with several other contractors that we decided to use for flooring, asbestos removal, windows, HVAC, and Solatube installation. As in every project of this scope, there were some issues to deal with along the way, but they were quickly resolved. SDD&R gutted the kitchen and bathrooms to the studs rather than cutting and patching the drywall. We believe this made for a better finish and also allowed us to have them reinforce many of the areas in the bathrooms where we wanted to install towel racks and grab bars. The cabinets and quartz countertops we got through them are of superior quality and these were used in the kitchen and bathrooms and hallway and laundry cabinets. They even installed a cabinet in the hallway location that formerly housed our whole house heater, which we had just previously moved to the attic. This work took from the beginning of June through mid-September to complete, which was pretty close to the schedule they had provided us. They used progress payments through the duration of the project and these were based upon specific activities that had been completed. This worked out well for us. Overall, this was a project that was well run and had a quality result and we would highly recommend SDD&R to others to check out for their remodeling projects."
