We are a company that values each customer the same. Big or small job we will give you a detailed estimate of the work you request to get done. We are a newer company that consists of a Master Electrician and a Master Plumber that have been in the industry a long time and pays attention to detail. We have done whole house remodels, new construction homes, and lots of service / repair work.

"Had them build a small bathroom out of an old closet. Paid half in June and not completed until September 15. No communication unless I initiated. Including the permit. Would show up maybe once a week, after I called them. Had scheduled carpeting for September 10th and asked and was told multiple times it would be done by September 1. Undependable and stressful! The original plan they sent was not compliant with code and would have had to be completely redone if I hadn?t made a change request. Builders should know building codes, or at least ask if unsure. Rediculous!"

No, a water descaler won't descale pipes. The charged water running through the pipes may very slowly dissolve mineral deposits and hold them inside the water, but it's a very gradual process. If your pipes do need descaling, it's much better to get a local plumber to descale your pipes.

If your water softener repair is fairly straightforward, like a simple filter replacement, then you can probably do it yourself with little risk. Because it’s been through the water cycle, evaporating and becoming slightly acidic thanks to dissolved carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, rainwater tends to be naturally soft compared to groundwater, which has just been in contact with limestone. However, the natural hardness level of water always depends on where you are and other factors.

A good hardness level for drinking water can vary based on personal preferences, but an ideal level is 3.5 to 7 GPG. This means your water isn’t soft or hard. However, some people prefer the “fresh” taste from the minerals in hard water, while others like the smoother, “slippery” texture of soft water.

The chemicals in a water softener can wear down the anode rod in the heater and shorten its life span. However, for most people, the benefits of the softener outweigh this potential drawback.

Have a plumber inspect the anode rod annually for damage, as replacing the anode rod is far less expensive than replacing the entire water heater.
