Customer service from the ladies in the office was excellent and the work was scheduled quickly. Pat and his team were professional, courteous, clean and efficient. We love our new water softener! We were told that with city water a softener wasn’t necessary. We notice the difference already and totally disagree. I would recommend Hansen to anyone!

Called Hanson regarding proper installation of a water softener that I got from a neighbor. I was relieved that they would come and install a unit not purchased from them. Having installed it myself and not functioning properly, I realized I bit off more than I could chew. Patrick (from Hanson) came out and carefully looked over the system, even made a few calls while simultaneously explaining the basics of water softening. In just over an hour he had the system properly plumbed, set-up and running. A few brief tests to see if it was functioning correctly and he was gone. Thanks Hanson. Thanks Patrick. You Rock!

It went very well, had the new water softener repositioned to optimize space at no additional charge. I will not be needing another water softener as the Hansen one replaced lasted 37 years.

Your water is harder, containing more chemicals (calcium, lime, etc.), than you think. Most municipalities definitely need a water softener, in our opinion. Our 12-year softener that needs no maintenance (a wonderful feature about a water softener) recently became clogged with the calcium, lime, etc., that is in the city water, and we had it repaired by Hanson which turned out to be an easy fix and very cheap repair. Jason came to fix ours and was quick, personable, professional and really knew his stuff. Tina told me they have honest, reliable referrals for tradesmen in all areas and have used for years so, from now on, I will be calling them for tradesmen referrals. Buy a softener from them and tell them Nancy Fritz recommended them. You will be very happy.

An installer did not properly glue a pipe. Problem was rectified in a timely manner.

I appreciated the input and professionalism of both the sales person & the installers. We liked that this was a more "manual" system, more like an old timer for your christmas lights. No funny programming to fail and less internal parts & electronics to go bad, which is what happened to our old unit. Plus, this is a more efficient unit, and MUCH cheaper than Culligan, with no "subscription" services required.

They did the works 100% as they said they would.

Called for service and instead she walked me though what to look for. Found out it got turned to bypass and therefore stopped worked and talked me through what needed to be done. Saved me a service call and gave them future customer. Thanks!

Tom from Hanson Soft Water called ahead to confirm the appointment and even showed up a few minutes early. He inspected my current water softener. He indicated there is a good chance that is still working and that a gauge wire may have come loose. Sure enough it was loose. He reattached it and showed me what to watch for. He then inspected my water softener and gave me a tutorial of what will need maintenance and watch to watch. Oh by they way he did all of this for no cost. Tom was professional and honest. I will be calling them in the future for any repairs or replacement and will recommend Hanson Soft Water.

They were very responsive to my initial call. Tom came out the next day and was friendly and knowledgable. Walked me through the various install options in terms of where the unit could be physically placed. Agreed on unit and price. The next day the installer came out to the house and installed the system. Did excellent welding work on the pipes, and asked me if I wanted to navigate the pipes around a window instead of in front of it. Did a great job. Explained everything and also offered to provide references for other work as we'll be remodeling the home over the next few years. Simply good feeling, honest brokers, highly recommended. No BS.

Tom was in the area so came right out. He explained how the water softener worked and gave useful advice on how to maintain it. He checked my home filtration system and the hardness of the water. He told me about other systems that could be used but told me that the system I was using right now was working properly and explained what may have caused the black color in the filter. He also gave me several leads on other people who may be able to assist me with other household jobs that need tackling. I really appreciated his honesty in not trying to offer a service or product I don't really need. I definitely will be contacting Hanson for any future water condition issues in the future .

When we called Hanson Soft Water to tell them to go ahead with the installation, they were able to come and do the work the following day. They arrived on time and called ahead to let us know when they would arrive. They removed our old water softener and saved the salt so it could be reused with the new unit. The installers were efficient and pleasant and completed the work in a timely fashion. They tested the hardness of our water and adjusted the softener to meet our needs. It has been working great ever since.

Hanson completed the job in a timely manner. The repairs were expertly done and the technician offered useful advice on maintaining the water softener and using is to its maximum capacity. A couple of months after service, I had some issues with the salt in the salt tank. The staff at Hanson walked me through several possible problems and their solutions while on the phone. The advice they gave allowed me to solve the problem with a service visit. The staff was extremely patient and helpful in solving this problem.

I've dealt with quite a few contractors over the years - some great, some not so much. But I must say that Ive never dealt with a more honest, reputable company than this. They installed my water softener 20 (not a typo - twenty) years ago. Just before the service date, I noticed a small amount of water leaking from the unit. Not a big deal. I just bypassed the unit to relieve the water pressure, thus stopping the leak. I called them to make an appointment to fix or replace it. They were here within two days. To my surprise and delight, the unit was STILL under warranty and repaired as such. A minor problem followed and was quickly repaired a couple of days later. They could have sold me a new unit and I would have been none the wiser. I paid only a trip charge and a minor amount of labor. These guys are terrific. Hire them.

They are wonderful. They charged me $10 a bag of salt. They call to tell me exactly that they are within fifteen minutes of whatever time they tell me. They take the salt down and put it in the water softener. They take the bags away. They are pleasant. I have been using them for several years, and I have been very happy with their services. I do not have any negative things to say about them.

Our old water softener completely stopped working and our drinking water system was in need of service. We called Hanson Soft Water and made arrangements for a representative to meet with us at our home. Tom, the representative, called prior to his arrival, to confirm he was on the way and that he would be there at the prearranged time. He reviewed the current situation, performed some water tests, and asked questions regarding our current needs and usage and then recommended a system. Tom also explained (to some detail) why he was recommending the particular system which I greatly appreciated. Tom gave detail as to the service history regarding the unit that was to be installed and what maintenance or service could be expected. He also recommended what type of salt should be used and gave the reason behind it. We went through a similar process with the drinking water system and he explained which filters will need to be changed and when they need to be changed. We purchased the systems and received a call the next morning to set up an installation date. We picked the first available date that met our schedule (4 business days later). Doug, the installer, called the afternoon before the scheduled service to confirm the time of his arrival. They arrived at our house on time, removed and replaced our old systems, explained the systems operations, and marked service dates on the drinking water filters. The installation has a far cleaner appearance than the system it replaced. By that I mean all the plumbing and water supply lines appear to have been placed with a little thought behind them and take up less room. All the systems are working great and we are very pleased and will be letting our friends know about Hanson Soft Water.

Very professional and fairly priced. Came to the house quickly after calling and tested our water before determining what we needed. Answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable. Our water quality has improved 100%. We would use them again if needed and recommend them to friends!

As planned. Company performed so well I also used them to convert to copper water lines throughout my home.
