Mover Dudes was started in 2006 by Jon Eye, the company's current President. Eye had been working for a self-storage company helping people move in and out of homes. After hearing about all of the difficulties and stresses people were consistently experiencing when moving, Eye decided that he wanted to help them. He envisioned a company that kept their word to the customer, was honest about costs, and relieved the common stresses of moving. Mover Dudes is now the reality of his vision. The company started small, but with a small ad in the telephone book, the company grew. Eye and his hard-working crew began moving local residents out of the area, and before they knew it, the name “Mover Dudes” was catching on. Long distance moves soon expanded into commercial moves after 1 year in business. Mover Dudes continued to grow, even while fighting, like everyone else, through the tough economy. Our facilities and service areas have continued to expand so that we can offer more service to our customers. Yes, it is absolutely worth it to hire piano movers. Pianos are heavy and bulky, which makes them very challenging to move safely and without causing damage to the piano and your home. Hiring piano movers is especially worthwhile if you need to move the instrument up or down staircases, as that can put you and your helpers at risk of serious injury.
