Best moving experience and team I ever had! I've moved a lot (local, intrastate and interstate), and Mover Dudes was the best moving team hands down! Right from the start, they talked me though questions about how to pack things and prep for the move. For a homeowner, moving is one of the most stressful things, but Mover Dudes took all that way and let me feel confident that my stuff was in good hands. The team showed up on time and worked in an orchestrated fashion that looked like pure skill in motion. This meant no mishaps and no time wasted. I would definitely hire them again because they care, did what they said they would, and were professional doing it. If those are values you care about, Mover Dudes is a great choice!

Mover Dudes was amazing from start to finish. They were responsive and reliable. They packed up a fair amount of items for us including all our breakables and picture frames/paintings. Their rate was well below the company we almost went with. They were able to accommodate our tight schedule and our stuff arrived quickly. Everyone I worked with was kind, curteous and very respectful about covid precautions. I cannot say enough good things!

Six movers with only one working full-time for the company. The other movers worked temporarily for the company. They were all quite polite, but their moving skills were weak. Most of my furniture and framed art work were damaged. A lounge chair tool was left with movers that were there for the first half of the move; therefore, chair could not be put back together and my husband had to buy a tool kit to put it together himself. The CEO did provide his furniture repair person at his expense and he did replace a glass shelf (I did pay for insurance but had a $1000 deductible, which he did not apply), but I still have damages on framed art work and some furniture that were not repaired, and having my furniture, many pieces I've owned for over 25 years, damaged was quite stressful and disappointing.

I would recommend Mover Dudes in a heartbeat. You could not ask for a crew more hard working, personable, professional, polite. Matt, Steve, Bishop and Josh were phenomenal. Their work ethic is excellent. They went above and beyond what you would expect. They moved items from my house in WV, stopped at a house in Maryland for more items and then went to another MD city to unload. It was an all day and into the night move and their price was extremely reasonable - less than I had expected. This experience was great right from the beginning arranging everything with Mo. I can't say enough good things about this company except for you to USE THEM.

Fantastic! The movers were super awesome and professional, even a smidge of fun (as evident for my photo). The office answered my million question because I had never hired movers before. There were some dings on the wall but truly nothing beyond what one would expect - and certainly better than I would have done. Hire these people they were fantastic.

Poorly. I had two previous moves that were good, but this one was awful. They sent me three very young, inexperienced people. They piled up all of my mother's original artwork and framed art into a pile in a box and did not wrap any of them. Because of this, glass was broken, and even worse, a hole was put into an oil painting done by my mother. They left things behind (one huge picture that couldn't have been missed), causing me to have to make a 3-hour trip to retrieve them. They didn't wrap any of the lamps, and of course, one arrived broken. They didn't wrap lampshades, and, of course, one arrived torn. The youngest of these people (I won't call them movers) was essentially a child (18 years old), and had no clue what he was doing, He kept moving about with one item in one arm, and something small in the other. Especially because of this, I asked for half of his time to be reimbursed. They refused, making an offer of a fraction of that amount, and making me pay for work that did not get done. They never apologized, never fully took responsibility, and were not willing to make it right. I absolutely would never use them again.

I moved over 20 times including several interstate and international moves, and have used several residential moving companies. For this move under 150 miles, I decided to use Mover Dudes to move and completely pack our home based on many favorable online reviews, but now I am unsure if these reviews were even real based on my extremely bad experience. I signed a “guaranteed and binding estimate” based on an in-home inspection that included Mover Dudes taking pictures of every room in our house. I included several additional items in the estimate that were included in these photos. These items were left in the house and moved to another location by Wheaten Van lines, totaling over 3500 lbs. The packers were largely professional and did a very good job packing items. Unfortunately, some movers were not experienced when moving quality wood furniture and there was no oversight by the crew leader. We paid the entire amount of our initial “guaranteed and binding estimate” within 3 days of the move. We had also tipped the packers and movers over $2000 for this move. Mover Dudes claims that they do not base their estimate on weight; rather their service is based on inventory. After completion of the move, we were overbilled 3 days later for an additional $3,500 above the guaranteed estimate. Dishonestly, many items moved by Wheaton were included on the final inventory sheet for Mover Dudes; they also added and duplicated other items, as just a few examples, there were over 100 additional boxes, an additional 55-inch television was added, and 5 additional dining chairs. After being confronted by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), their manager, Gregory R. Brown, had no answers for this extra inventory and could provide no proof it was accurate. Mover Dudes does not use a standardized numbered inventory method employed by legitimate moving companies. Mr. Brown’s responses to the BBB were pathetic and untruthful. In addition, Mr. Brown fraudulently claimed our moving weight exceeded the original estimate by 4000 lbs. Mover Dudes provided no weight estimate in signed paperwork for our contract, and Mover Dudes never supplied us with any official weights as required for interstate moves to support Mr. Brown’s false claims after the move. Mover Dudes did over $5000 in damage and refused to honor the insurance we purchased under our “guaranteed and binding estimate” that I paid in full. They never even responded to my last rebuttal with the BBB, and never called or contacted us directly during this entire process. This company is dishonest and unprofessional-- they do not deserve anyone's business.

The entire process - from the quote to the completion of the move - was handled in such a professional manner. The crew almost made a most stressful day a more enjoyable one. They took such care of wrapping the furniture (as old as it was!) and made sure all stairs, hallways and doorways were protected! HIGHLY recommend Mover Dudes!

We actually didn’t use Mover Dudes after all. However, I was so very impressed with how quickly they responded to my emailed request for their services. Their price estimate was more than we wanted to spend, but they worked with us through different scenarios to bring it down into our price range. It was not high pressure and they were pleasant to work with. I’m hoping this review will help someone else who is considering Mover Dudes, even though we didn’t end up hiring them.

Wonderfully! These guys were completely professional from the start, introducing themselves and offering a handshake. They were personable and efficient. They handled my items as if they were their own. I couldn’t have asked for better. I will definitely use them in the future.

First, the moving team that did the work were very polite and efficient. The person that did the initial quote, Kory, did an onsite walkthrough and even video taped the house in order to develop our moving quote. Upon review, it seemed comprehensive and included some items which we were going to move or do ourselves (disassemble/reassemble tables and beds). I sent Kory multiple texts and e-mails asking if I needed to validate the quote, item by item, and didn't get any responses to my questions. The quote was not organized by room or floor, do validating it was going to be very difficult. Also, we knew that we were going to do a significant amount of work in advance. We spent two days prior to the move date moving items out of the house and staging as much as possible in the garage to make the move faster and easier. The move ended up costing us 10% more than we originally planned, originally it was 20% more, until I complained. I feel that we were put into a bait and switch situation.

Excellent! Mover dudes showed up on time, worked hard, took great pains to prevent damage to my stuff, were very professional throughout. All this at a price well below other estimates. I highly recommend them!

The leader was fantastic. He utilized the time efficiently, received updates of my estimated hours left. Plus, packing the the truck and storage units to avoid additional hourly cost unnecessary. The other two worked were quick yet careful when hauling everything to the truck. They had an a great system. There was a nick on the frame molding that occurred while trying to maneuver electric reclining coach over the stairs around the front door. It is a bear to move. They recorded the nick and the company sent a repair guy out to fix it before we closed on our house. Great job overall.

Did a very good job of wrapping furniture to protect it during transport. Both gentlemen we're very knowledgeable,friendly and out going.

John, Terry, Quinton and Daryl were on time and worked hard all day. I never felt concern for any items they handled and they were a joy to be around. John handled every situation politely and professionally.

The crew on time after calling to alert us. The move went on without a hitch. One negative: movers made several dings & marks on wall @ destination location.

Mitchell and Corey called a 1/2 hour before arriving, which was helpful since we have dogs to put away. They were friendly, clean cut and very polite. When they moved things they were very careful. We needed furniture moved to garage so we could get hardwood floors refinished. Not only did they put everything in the garage it was nice and neat so that we could move around still in the garage.

Everything was perfect. CL really enjoyed the days and the crews help. Very polite, professional and did exactly what we needed.

Mover Dudes were fantastic. They were efficient and friendly. I also feel they were reasonably priced for movers. Damien and Korey were great. They both worked diligently and quickly to get everything moved safely.

Move started on time. Goods packed and delivered to storage and unloaded into storage unit without delay or damage. Plan to use same company and crew to move from storage to next home.

3 Men & 2 trucks arrived on time. Were friendly and courteous. Went straight to work and worked continuously until finished. Handled furniture boxes and totes with care. Reviewed contract at on set and at end. Were respectful and professional.

As you can imagine, this type of move is stressful emotionally and physically. Mover Dudes not only were responsive and answered all of my questions, they sent the most thoughtful and professional staff to assist us with all of our moving needs. This was a hard time for my Grandmother having lost her partner only months prior and now a big transition with leaving her home. Given so many of her belongings were made of glass, we all were extremely nervous. These gentlemen went above and beyond great customer service with a smile and more. They really work well together as a team.

Very well. They worked with me when a unexpected scheduling conflict arose at the move-in site, showed up on time to my TH with 4 very nice folks who worked quickly, carefully and respectfully to carefully wrap my furniture and load my self-packed boxes. At the delivery end, another moving firm had taken over the sole elevator despite my having reserved it, so the Mover Dudes team carried all my belongings up to the 3rd floor quickly, carefully and graciously, considering the 90 degree heat. They carefully placed my furniture and boxes where I wanted them. I have not found any damage to any of my belongings--even my self-packed items that I have had time to unpack--and no damage to either TH I moved out of or the stairs, corridor or interior of my condo. They were a great team, and lived up to the glowing reviews that led me to Mover Dudes in the first place. They did a great job under trying circumstances, and I highly recommend them.
