Chimney Cricket

Description of Work: They arrived on time to check my chimneys and fireplaces, they have never been cleaned since I have owned the house. They said they were fine. No charge. I was amazed that they came out to my home, checked the fireplaces and chimneys and did not charge me! Upon a visual inspection of the roof and chimneys, they suggested chimney caps. I will definitely have them perform the work in the future. I was very impressed!

Description of Work: Well. They were efficient and did a good job of cleaning the chimney. They also suggested that a liner was necessary to prevent CO2 from coming into the living room on very cold days (the water heater vents into the fireplace). They also pointed out masonry that needs to be repaired at the top of the chimney - I will probably hire them to do so.

Description of Work: Cleaned the chimney, installed two rain caps, and performed motor repairs on the main fireplace.

Description of Work: Arrived when scheduled. Assessed situation and made suggestions which we expected. Cleaned chimney, closed chimney with new cap, lined flue, repair in basement,etc. |Dirty job but they didn't leave a speck of dirt/dust behind.

They were very polite, especially the young assistant. |I have one small complaint, they did not clean the chimmney ashes that accumulate below the fireplace in the drop through exterior clean out. Perhaps a simple mistake on a very busy, very snowy day. |I would definetly use them again but I would be certain to remind them to remove the old ashes below.

Description of Work: Chimney Crickets came to work on Sunday, which was in accordance with our schedule. They evaluated our requests and performed the requested tasks of cleaning two chimneys and adding a damper/flew to one of our chimneys. The task of removing an old heater was performed, but left the internal cleaning of it up to me. I also felt their prices was a little high, but maybe I was paying a premium for Sunday work?
