"I used Movers USA at the beginning of this year to move my 10’ X 15’ storage unit from NE Balt. City to an apartment in Asheville, NC. Prior to my selecting this company, I checked out 6 or 7 other companies also listed on Angi, and along with Movers, seriously interviewed and went over to another company and met with them in person. I dealt with Movers’ owner Sharon Nahoom a number of times through email and in a couple of calls. In addition, I went over to his office located in the very large company storage facility in Jessup. I was impressed with this storeroom being well organized and its’ sheer size and the size and cleanliness of a truck he showed me. In addition, Sharon was friendly and overall fairly accommodating. Mr. Nahoom was the only one honest and clear with me, that as I personal had packed everything, and even though most boxes were clearly labeled, no insurance carrier would insure them as they had not been professionally packed. This honesty saved me at least $300 to $500 on needless insurance. In addition, Sharon was flexible with me on matching some terms that the other company I was serious dealing with offered—-no charge for an extra day of storing my items in the truck, extra steps to the apt, and on pick-up and delivery dates. He was also reasonable with his price—-being on the lower end of the scale from the 7-8 companies I had quotes from. The cheapest by far, was a company located in Washington state that used contracted movers—-but I didn’t want to take a chance with this The pick-up went smoothly, starting on time, and with the foreman—-Fernando, and four younger movers emptying my storage unit into their truck in a couple of hours. Two days later in Asheville, Fernando showed with a lady helper—-but no-one else. He managed to do the bulk of the moving himself up 30 steps—-as the apt was on the third floor. A number of times I had to assist him from his unloading the top couple of boxes—-as he would just carry them up on his back with a large canvas strap! If I had not helped some with some boxes would have fell to the floor. He stated he was in ‘a rush’ as he wanted to get back through the mountains down her before the forecasted storm early that afternoon. Things were rushed as fair as quick decisions by me which room specific boxes and items were put—-as we were dealing with the realities of one mover in a rush, with nice woman periodically bringing up a few more things up. Overall the move went smoothly, but I have concerns that just having one man with some extra help was “putting almost all the eggs in one basket”—-if he had gotten hurt, plus he had done all the 8 plus hour drive here, and was doing the same on the way back. Only thing broke was a worthless drinking glass that I had poorly packed. As I had about 280 boxes I wanted to open them all and see that there was no damaged items. I had taken some items to my sisters in Montgomery Co and then took down most this when I headed south a few days after the storage unit move, and given a number things to Goodwill —-so not sure about a couple of things I thought I still had. Overall I would have given this company somewhere around a “B+” grade but as there are no ‘pluses’ or ‘minuses’ that is why I gave Movers 4 stars rather than the 5."

"It was so smooth! The men were so careful and competent. They were respectful and polite, and considerate of each other which I really liked. Nothing was scratched, dirtied, or damaged. Everything fully and properly disassembled and reassembled in the new location. This is my second time using Quinn Moving over the years. They were recommended by a friend and I recommend them to anyone who needs a good quality and reliable mover!"

"We used P's "Friendly" movers for a move from a very large house to a townhome across the street. First of all, you need to know he does not do "free estimates" as he advertised on his website. He has you fill out the inventory online and then sends you an estimate based on what you submitted. If you are desperate enough to use him (which I was as our move date changed and I had no other option) make sure you have the movers the day of the move sign in- he charged us for 5 movers and only sent 3. It literally made our move the worst experience ever. My husband had to help the movers all day and still worked until 4am in the morning to get it complete. We then had to pay almost double of our estimate because he billed us for 5 movers and only sent 3. We did get our $ back after taking him to the District Magistrate- but it made our move so stressful and they did not set up any of our furniture, like promised. This company owner is unethical and I would rather move myself !"

"We booked these movers about two weeks out and told them we had a small street. They said it would be no problem. They got here and told us they cannot go down the street. I suggested an alternate street as I am familiar with small street and know a great alternitive. Immediately the guy got rude with me, he took us trying to explain the situation as us trying to argue. He canceled and refused to do the work. Unreliable, unprofessional and the price is not worth the hassle of not being able to count on someone."

"I had to move my furniture into storage for a few months before my new home was ready. I reached out to this company and they came through for me. Their movers labeled and packed everything so well that unpacking later was a breeze. So grateful for their attention to detail!"

"Angi provided 27 7 Logistic Services as a potential supplier of moving services. I contacted them and 2 other movers. Ultimately I signed a contract with 24 7. On 2/24 I received a quote from Michael at 24 7. The initial quote included a $1,000 discount because of the following reasons: my husband is a veteran, we are senior citizens, and we signed a contract on the first contact with their company.. As the move date approached, I had the final walk thru with Lisa Marie. After the walk thru I was provided a copy of the final contract. I reveiwed the contract and saw that the $1,000 discount was reduced to $500 with no explanation. I attempted contact 24/7 but was referred to "higher pay grade" employees who never bothered to return my call. At the completion of the move I made final payment based on the revised numbers which was $500 more than the quoted amounts. The move has been completed and 24 7 management has totally stone walled me concerning not honoring their quote"
