I approved it. When he got into it he determined it was not as extensive as originally thought! Both doors work very well now. It has been over 2 weeks since the work was done."

Retired Electrician and YMCA of USA facilities repairman. Part of the build team for Progressive campus on SOM Center Rd. I can install or fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances and just about everything else.
"I had to move quickly, was going through a divorce and needed work done at the property to which I was moving. The most urgent item was erecting a fence for my dogs. Jeff met me at the property and we discussed a number of items I wanted done. He spoke about the big projects he's done for large corporations and assured me he could get the work done prior to my deadline. Jeff told me he needed a deposit to get started. Because I didn't want any delays, I gave him a $1,200 deposit without anything in writing. He missed every promised deadline and each time I contacted him, he turned the situation around saying he would get the work done if I stopped bothering him. I continued to contact him because nothing was getting done and he hadn't done anything to move the work forward. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. I kept on him and he finally provided me with a day he'd be out to begin erecting the fence. I couldn't be present the day he was scheduled to be out and when arrived at the property, Jeff was not there, but there were holes throughout my lawn. I called him and was told that a fence could not be erected on my property - no one would be able to install fencing because of tree roots. After he told me he couldn't proceed with the fencing, I requested that my deposit be returned. He first said he would refund the deposit. When a week passed and I received nothing from him, I contacted him again and he told me he did the work and was owed the money. Because he spent time making holes all over my property, he believed he should be paid. By the way, he left the holes throughout my lawn. Holes that created a liability for me. I continued to contact him and on one call, he indicated that he visited his lawyer and would be sending me the invoice for the money due to him, and indicated that I would receive a check for the remaining portion of the deposit. I never received any of my deposit back. Jeff is dishonest and anything but honorable. Beware."

Hershberger Roofing and Siding is locally owned and operated, providing quality roofing, siding, and window services to residents of greater Cleveland and the surrounding area for well over a decade. We offer quality Amish workmanship on all jobs performed. We specialize in metal roofing, but we’re equipped and qualified to install many types of roofing and windows. We also provide general contracting services.
"We used Hershberger in 2020 to replace our roof. We had no prior issues with our roof on our home built in 1952. We used Hershberger based on recommendations. Friday, May 15th 2020 we discovered our roof was leaking through a nail hole on a rainy day. I have videos and pictures of this issue. Hershberger fixed the issues and that’s when it all got worse. While addressing the nail hole they also capped our ridge vent. Capping the ridge vent has caused years, 2.5 of condensation. We looked into the attic and saw white mold as well as condensation on our beams, boards and insulation. Hershberger is extremely difficult to get ahold of. We went a few days without hearing then called a local company to come and assess. Having two babies in our home the mold scared us. Upon the assessment we were told the issues was created by capping the ridge vent and an overall botched roofing job. Hershberger finally got back to us after several more slightly assertive phone calls highlighting the concerns and urgency of the matter. The person they sent to assess the damage took no fault and tried blaming the issue on something unrelated. The end result was him walking away aggressively without any conclusion. We got our roof replaced to be proactive in anticipation for our growing family. We now have two children and a very damaged home. We need help getting to a fair resolution."

Garage door repairs cost $260 on average but can range anywhere from $80 to $675. Factors such as the type of repair needed, the style of your garage door, and the material your door is made of all play a part in the final price tag.
For example, wood garage doors look beautiful but are prone to dents, splitting, and cracks that are difficult to fix. You can expect to spend an average of $200 to $300 to repair your wooden garage door. Fiberglass garage doors are more durable and less expensive to fix, averaging around $100 to $200.
The cost of replacing garage door panels is around $1,200 for the average homeowner. However, depending on a few factors, you could pay as little as $250 or as much as $3,000 or more. Considerations like panel style and the type of garage door you have all factor into what you pay.
While sectional garage doors are common among homeowners, they are often the most expensive to replace, averaging around $700 to $2,400. Tilt-up garage doors, which are the simplest door available, range from $400 to $1,400.
Annual to biannual routine garage door maintenance is vital to extending its life as much as possible. Most importantly, noticing any unusual sounds or movements and taking care of them as soon as possible is one of the best ways to maintain your garage door. Keeping the tracks clear of dirt and debris and lubricating the rollers and other moving parts twice a year will also help to get the most out of your door.
Even though garage doors can last 15 to 30 years, it’s important to recognize the signs of wear and tear or other damage that might cause the need for a repair or replacement. A big sign that your garage door needs repair or replacement is the door not opening and closing correctly, including moving slower than usual. Also, if you notice that your garage door is becoming warped or overly weathered, it’s time to call a professional to discuss your options and tips for buying a new garage door.
Garage doors generally last between 15 to 30 years, depending on many factors. Your location plays an essential role in your garage door’s lifespan—doors exposed to harsh elements like heavy rain or intense heat might not last as long as those installed in a milder climate. How often you use your garage door also factors into its overall lifespan. Generally, standard garage door springs can withstand 20,000 cycles, whereas tension springs typically last between 5,000 and 10,000.
