"I had a very positive experience with JCB and will definitely call them in the future when I need help. I wanted to completely change my kitchen but I didn’t want to shoulder the expense of new cabinetry. I spoke to Brandon about my vision (which was to have a rustic, distressed look on my kitchen cabinetry with coordinated accent cabinetry around the kitchen) and he gave me a lot of helpful info on the phone, even before I signed the contract. He came out to my home to show me what they could do, to make sure it was to my liking. His estimate also seemed fair. Once the job started, Brandon and Chris and Joe were kind and communicative, letting me know what they were doing each day and checking in for feedback. Because I wanted a unique, distressed look on my cabinets, they created the look entirely by hand based on my description of what I wanted. It was painstaking and labor-intensive, but they worked efficiently. The entire job was done in a week (they worked through the weekend) and I’m thrilled with the result. They also re-painted my walls, in a color that complimented the new cabinetry, and they replaced a light fixture. In addition to be very talented and building me a kitchen that I love, they are genuinely good humans, which is even more important. I’d highly recommend JCB."

"Basement Project We absolutely love our new basement! I was very nervous when selecting the contractor for this job. I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. He designed the whole layout of our basement (we love it) and oversaw the entire project from beginning to end. The construction crews were very polite and friendly. Best Home did an excellent job and very flexible with many changes I had and they completed the job on time (took 3 months and exactly 1 week)which was amazing. I am actually hiring them again for additional projects. I highly recommend Best Homes!"

"Willis Builders did 2 full baths & kitchen reno + laminate floor install on main level of our modest 3-story T/H (Jan-Apr ‘24). Marcelo was our PM and as many others say, his crew did not disappoint. Willis was neither the highest nor the lowest quote of several but we felt Matt Willis presented the most honest and realistic estimate for our project and he hit that nail on the head. They might say we bothered them with questions; we might say we had to nudge them a few times. We did our homework to help things move along more smoothly & they did their best to accommodate us. We purchased a bunch of stuff before choosing a contractor. No matter what we threw at them, installation was a success which is a testament to the knowledge and capabilities of Marcelo & crew (Horatio, Frankie & “George”). When we were undecided or unsure about a product, Marcelo steered us toward better or more appropriate alternatives. We had no issue, as a few others suggested, with crews leaving things clean at the end of the day. Our T/H is small with limited space for them to work/store materials & equipment. We never felt compromised during 3 months of disruption. (And we never hesitated to leave our home when work was being done.) Is everything perfect? No, there is no such thing as perfection in an almost 40-yr old house reno or any reno for that matter. There were a few glitches as we expected, but uh-ohs and problems that arose were resolved promptly. We waited to post this glowing review of our project to see if any problems showed up, and none did. Until the ceiling in our bedroom collapsed several months later which had absolutely nothing to do with their work. We are so thankful that we had no reservations about sending Matt Willis an SOS for help with our emergency. In fact, we were so confident in his work that we decided to add painting and a carpet upgrade to what has become an almost total house reno. Again, Matt’s estimates were fair and reasonable, such that our confidence in his company allowed us to forgo spending time getting quotes from others. Matt told us repeatedly how good his ‘drywall guy’ was, and he did not exaggerate! Will & sidekick Carlos were fast and fastidious! The carpet install was equally quick and painless. We are so very happy with the results of our sudden and unexpected 2nd Willis project. We're sorry we didn’t get a chance to rave about how thrilled we are with the results of our 1st until now. If you’re considering home improvements, we highly recommend you consider Willis Builders. We’re doubly happy we did!"

"We had a great experience with BST Design & Build. The project was scoped out, started on time and took about 5 weeks which was in the estimated 4-6 week schedule. During the project, questions were answered and the onsite team was very responsive to our wishes, even being creative to ensure our needs were addressed. "In the past, we’ve typically hired general contractors based on solicitations at our home. This has unfortunately resulted in more than a few misses. But we went through Angi this time and the pro we chose, Omar’s General Contracting, was definitely a hit. Omar was professional and communicative. His crew was great. On time, very tidy, reasonably priced, flexible, and a perfect finished product. We hired them on Sunday and they started on Monday. In two days, Omar and his crew were able to basically rebuild our entire eat-in kitchen ceiling following a large plumbing project. I honestly think it looks better now than it did before the work. They were very responsive, checked in to see if we had questions, and their process for allowing customers to monitor jobs seemed top-notch. Mike and Simone were both wonderful. Although we did not use City Renovations this time, we are keeping them at the top of our list for future renovations as well as smaller jobs."
