"They knocked down the hornets nest, however they do have a predatory contract. I only needed them for one thing. The contract has 4 check marks at which it appears that it is when you will be charged but the way you will be charged is monthly and not quarterly. Who needs a monthly pest subscription at $50 for 12 months? To break the contract is $200 so be aware and read the contract carefully. Hopefully theyll get a class action due to these practices. "Moved into a new house, discovered some evidence of mice. Schopen came to the rescue! Setting an appointment was easy, the tech arrived on time, was friendly. He did a visual inspection inside and outside of the house and patched possible entrances around the foundation. He set traps and bait stations and then came back for a maintenance check. No major evidence of intrusion--the holes they filled outside worked! I am keeping them on for maintenance and adding a spider and bugs b/c they give a single fee for maintenance on both--which is a great deal. They also have an account portal on their website so clients can track spending, notes, and appointments. One national brand came and tried to upsell me--saying that I needed them to install a barrier around my house because of some issue with my siding ($2000!) and the cost of their annual service was double Schopen. I highly recommend skipping the big-name brands and going with this family-owned business."

"The south side location of Rose Pest Control that was handled by the Indiana Team, initially started smooth and approaching 2 years of service for me. During COVID period there was a change in staff and management. From there, Poor follow up - No Calls, and poor service where only partial work was done(No Signature confirming work was done), but the the Indiana (Franklin) Rose Pest Control Team expected full payment(to which I stopped the auto deduction the payments) for the subpar, partial work that they did not complete. Despite my several attempts in contacting them to complete the unfinished job). After my frustration with them died down, I attempted to resolve the matter and made several calls(unanswered). I then received a bill for what was claimed as service rendered but the service was not complete. I never received a followed up despite my attempts to reach out to address the matter. The Indiana staff didn't care to assist or nor bother understand my issue. You "had" a Long Term Customer but poor management blew the opportunity"

"I had several wasps nests around the corners of my home and in a vent. There was also one I didn't notice but the very keen and knowledgeable team member pointed it out. All were gone in a matter of minutes. He also noticed the mud wasp nests on stone work at my home. I learned something new today! Quick and pleasant staff with excellent communication on work being done. I highly recommend them."

"Once again, American Weathermakers saved the day! Have used them for over 30 years and they’ve been consistently good and very responsive in critical situations and still continue to deliver quality service. During the last sub-zero cold spell with wind chills running in the minus 30 degree range, I woke on Sunday morning, about 6am, with the house a very chilly 52 degrees. Seems the furnace was not working! Immediately called American Weathermakers and reached their answering service. A very nice lady took my information and said someone call me back. About twenty minutes later, Zlatan Pasic, their Installation Manager, called and said he was headed into the office and would be going past my home and could stop and see if he could find the problem. When he arrived, he was immediately able to solve one problem but there was a blown circuit board that would need replacing. Obviously, he didn’t have one with him but said he would check as soon as he was in the office and and let me know. Told me it would take an hour or so to get back to me because he also needed to coordinate all the service calls coming in due to the storm and cold. He called about an hour later and said they had the circuit board (!!) and as soon as a technician was free and could get to the warehouse to pick it up, they would be out. Matt Merkelz, one of their service technicians, arrived within a couple hours with the part and up had the unit up and running in short order. By late afternoon, my house was once again warm and snuggy!"

"It went very well. Ryan from Attic Solutions came out to meet me the day after I called, on the July 4th holiday no less, to investigate what I reported. After reviewing the situation in detail he explained that he could set out traps but due to the way the deck is oriented and open he would catch many animals from the neighborhood and it would not be cost effective. As such, he recommended that I seal off the deck area and use ammonia rags to deter the animals from using that area. After providing that assessment he said there would be no charge for the visit today which was a surprise. I would definitely recommend Ryan and will call him if I have any more issues in the future."
