Sunset, introduced an unknown concept for the exterior remodeling business by becoming one of the first to open a showroom specifically for siding and replacement windows in Chicagoland. In 1987, when Bill Highstreet started Sunset, we became the first in the area to sell, almost exclusively, vinyl siding and PVC coated aluminum for trim work, rather than the more conventional all aluminum baked enamel products. They were severely cracked and the bottom step had become so steep (10?) because the sidewalk had sunk. They replaced all the steps and leveled off the sidewalk as well as washed and sealed the limestone sides. Now they look great. They also finished the job in a timely manner, in just a couple of days. I would highly recommend John and will use him again if need be!"
