The company did excellent work. The owner was particularly responsive and swift at all stages, from initial meeting and proposal through to the finish, and was receptive to all questions. Prior to the work, the house had mismatch stucco patterns and needed cracks and corners repaired. This provider attended to all those details, including things we hadn't noticed. The house looks terrific now! I cannot recommend this company enough - Very high satisfaction!

After being thorough getting estimates, I hired Forest Park Stucco to do some stucco repairs on my home, and the work they did exceeded my expectations. I'm fussy and dread dealing with contractors, but Joe was kind, caring, extremely professional and followed through on his word. His workers are true craftsman - my house's stucco pattern is unique and they matched it perfectly. They called back within a couple day to tell me we were outside their service area. If so, why did they come up on the possible contractors for my zip code? The negative review is more for Angie's List - unless Forest Park Stucco is promoting they serve a bigger service area than they really do. ??

Forest Park Stucco did an amazing job getting the work done around multiple rain days. They were prompt and polite, very professional! The work is beautiful and there is no sign of where repairs were made. There was some new work that had to match the look of the rest of the 110 year old house and they did it seamlessly. I would recommend them to everyone who really cares about the end product. I work in the construction industry myself and can tell you this kind of quality in stucco work is hard to find! Great warranty too.

The work was excellent. Joe is wonderful to work with. His price was fair and I appreciated his honesty and commitment to quality work. I highly recommend him. My house looks beautiful. His workers were professional and Joe was easy to reach.

Excellent service. Joe and his crew worked hard to make sure we were completely satisfied with their service. Even when I changed my mind on the color choice, they were willing to work with us in choosing a more pleasing color. They arrived early and worked late. The only delay was weather related of which they were still apologetic. We would definitely recommend them for your stucco work. There would be no hesitation on our part to do so again.

Joe actually came out last year to give us an estimate. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Due to the weather, he had to postpone the job until this year. We were fully aware that the weather is a major factor with stucco. He kept in touch and was willing to work around our schedules.

They were fine. We had trouble in scheduling. When they were here, they did a very good job. They cleaned up afterwards.

Joe's work is phenomenal. When we first reached out to him, was responsive and at our home within days for an estimate. He told us as soon as the weather warmed up, we'd be at the top of his list. Sure enough, his crew arrived and took care of everything. We hardly even knew they were here. Hopefully we don't have to have our stucco repaired again, but if we do, Joe's our guy. I highly recommend.

Joe is a true professional -- from showing up on time to provide an estimate to keeping us in the loop as to when his team would be able to start the job. His team did a tremendous job re-coating our home -- and all in four days' time with minimal mess. The best part? Two neighbors with whom we're casually acquainted actually made it a point to ring our doorbell to tell us how awesome our house looked!

The stucco on our house was I desperate need of repair. Not at forest park came and gave us a bid and was super professional. He started and finished when he said he would and the work was amazing!!! I would recommend this company to anyone who asks!

Joe Zerbinski Jr came out to give me an estimate he was very detail and gave me good advice on what work I needed on the house. He always called me back when I called and left a message. His price was very reasonable considering the work I had done.

Forest Park Stucco did an exceptional job on my Oak Park home. They were punctual and the level of quality was impressive. I was taken aback at the level of craftsmanship and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for anything from small stucco repair to a whole face-lift.

Forest Park Stucco did a great job in completely re-doing stucco on a large, 2.5 story home. They filled over a hundred 2" holes left from an insulation contractor (the week before), filled other holes, cracks etc. The end result: surfaces are clean, undisturbed, and the finish is excellent. It looks new, and all imperfections built up over 100 years of occupancy are undetectable. The process of contracting and working with Joe was great: he was very clear about services to be performed, scheduling was as promissed, crew was on site for better part of two weeks -- and no problems with them on site. Additionally, Joe was extremely helpful to me in providing references for other trades to work on the home. He introduced me to a carpenter that did a great job repairing cedar trim, and an insulation contractor who blew in wall insulation. Joe takes great pride in his work, and knows his stucco. I did get another quote, and Joe's was the lower of the two. While the $ price is significant, it seems proportional (to other jobs I had completed this year), given the man-day completed on site. I would recommend Joe and Forest Park Stucco without reservation. Put another way: I've had half a dozen vendors on site over the last year-and-a-half, and Joe provided the easiest experience, best end-product and very good value for money.

I never go past or look at one side of our garage and consequently did not notice that very large pieces of stucco had fallen off. Had I noticed it I would have had it repaired last spring when we had stucco repaired on our house. The house and garage are 101 years old and thanks to Forest Park Stucco, they both look terrific now. Once again, working with the owner, Joe, was a pleasure. We got a prompt cost estimate; an estimate of when the work would be scheduled and were kept abreast of changes necessitated only by some rainy weather. The crews were polite, came on time and did a beautiful job over the three days (three coats). There was no sign that they had been there, except the great looking stucco, because they clean up after themselves. I have used stucco contractors before that were touted as having done work on the Frank Lloyd Studio and other historic properties in Oak Park and the repair work they did was definitely second-rate compared to Forest Park Stucco. Those earlier repair experiences certainly were not cheap, and they were a waste of money. When I got estimates in the spring, Forest Park Stucco was not the cheapest, but we got all that we paid for in a great job and will never look for another stucco company as long as Joe at Forest Park Stucco is around.

The work took place the last half of July. Forest Park Stucco required 4 visits to site. On the third day, the homeowner stopped the work. The work stoppage was due to a miscommunication which centered around the material to be used for the final coat. The work stoppage was swiftly resolved to the homeowner satisfaction. Work restarted. Due to hot weather and a thunderstorm on the last scheduled day of work, an extra trip was required to recoat the west side of the house and complete the job. The job was completed at a satisfactory level.

They did a great job. Came three days for the patching, design, and final coat. The owner was very responsive and could not have been more professional from the get-go. I wish we had used them 10 years ago when we had patching done. I got three quotes before choosing them. They were the most expensive, but others planned to patch as painters would and do it all in one trip. Forest Park Stucco really know stucco and did the job wonderfully with no mess. It was worth the extra expense to get a quality job.

The whole process went very well. On some areas of the house the stucco had to be removed right down to the lathe. Large cracks also had to be repaired. The crew did a very systematic job of removing the old stucco and putting up the new material. When that was done they applied paint to the whole house. The house, which is 87 years old, looks like new. They did a thorough job with the stucco and also did a great job with the cleanup and removal of the old material.

I mailed in the signed contract with a $154 deposit on October 2, 2012. Thereafter, I made several calls to Joe to find out when the work would be scheduled, as there was one week when I would be out of town. I kept getting voicemail and leaving messages that went unreturned. A neighbor who had requested an estimate told me she had also been unable to reach them. I went out of town approximately three weeks later, having had no response to my phone messages and in a panic thinking the company had gone out of business. It was nearly the end of October when I received a call and an e-mail from Joe, stating that he had been in the hospital for 9 days. I told him that I did want him to proceed with the work, although in the interim I had obtained another estimate. More time passed, during which I left additional voicemail messages attempting to ascertain the schedule. Those calls went unreturned. On Monday, November 5, 2012, the crew arrived unannounced to perform the work. I was on my way out to keep a scheduled appointment. I returned later and watched the workers for awhile, then had to leave again. When I returned home the second time, the work was completed and the employees had left. They appeared to have done a good job. However, in the process, they left globs of hardened stucco on a porch window and windowsill. Worst of all, in the course of the work, they tore down my 6-foot tall lilac bush that had dozens of buds on it. I found the branches thrown in the garden on the other side of the path. I am now faced with digging out the remaining base and roots of the bush and purchasing and planting a new one. I regret that I have had to downgrade a company that has done such excellent work on my house since 1988. However, I feel that any business owner should be more responsive and responsible to his customers. Even if the principal is ill, there should have been a foreman or someone else available to contact customers and inform them of the circumstances. With regard to the lilac bush, there was plenty of space to work around and behind it. It should not have been torn down, with nothing even being said to me.

Joe was very professional. He returned my calls promptly. He provided an estimate of when he could start. That date was pushed back a few times do to other clients but he always kept me informed. One they started the job they worked full days to ensure my house was completed timely. I left a big bucket of stucco at my house. This is to be used for retouches he will do for free for the next 5 years! I didn't expect that at all.

Forest Park Stucco's crew arrived on time to start the work. The first day they erected the ladders and scaffolding. They put thick paper runners on the side walk adjacent to the house to protect the surrounding area. They masked windows and doors as the work progressed. They cleaned up each day. Overall the work went smoothly from start to finish. The information that Forest Park Stucco, Inc.. provided before the work was started was informative and impressive, I would recommend it to anyone having stucco work done. I was able to use two coupons to offset the price for the work that was done. One coupon came with the information from Forest Park Stucco and the secound coupon was form Angie's List. I had a total savings of $ 600.00.

It took them a number of weeks due to the amount of work and area that needed to be stuccoed. Because I had all the old stucco removed before hand, they were able to put on a newer and nicer texture which was thinner than the old stuff. If you have the funds and the time, and a purest at heart, it is definitely the way to go. These guys are very detailed and cover everything before hand, they use blocks of wood to protect my gutters, and trim. Overall they did a fantastic job.
