"Called Saturday October 5th 2024 at around 11am. Spoke to someone, gave my name, address, phone number. They repeated it back accurately. Appt set from 12-4pm same day. 3pm that day a sales manager comes by, says they don't have a ph# for me. I gave it to him. He said there's 1 guy working and he probably won't be able to make it today. He recommended I call another company if I wanted it done that day. So I did. Today is Monday October 7th, 2 days after I requested service. I get an email from April saying they don't have a phone number for me and asking me to call to arrange service. How do they lose my number twice? And further, who calls for weekend service for a plumbing issue but can wait till Monday because of a company's incompetence? Not me. I called a competitor and they made it that day. Aksarben ARS was a waste of my time on Saturday. And the email this morning asking to reschedule service made my jaw hit the floor. I do not recommend Aksarben ARS."

Once we gave the go-ahead, Jim took it from there. They kept me updated as to the status of the city permits, as Omaha was backlogged. The crew performed their work in a timely and professional fashion. They were very respectful, personable, dedicated, and their workmanship is top notch, as is the quality of the materials. In 1981, Ray Barr, Tom Brummett and Stan Gregory purchased the company with the ambition to become one of the leading heating and air conditioning companies in Omaha. After starting business with only one install technician and one service technician, their dream has been realized after growing into a company with a staff of over 100 people and branching out into all areas of the HVAC business. In 2007 Tom Brummett, retired after 26 years of committed service. He helped A-1 United become the company it is today. In May of 2007, A-1 United implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, (ESOP). In essence, Ray Barr and Stan Gregory turned over the ownership of the company to our dedicated and loyal employees. In 2009 we made the decision to branch out into the electrical contracting business. This has turned out to be a good decision. We now have a staff of 12 full time electricians to serve you. Over the past 33 years, A-1 United has become one of the largest Lennox dealers in the Midwest. We owe this to you, all of our devoted customers without whom, our company would not be where it is today.
