"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. I highly recommend DM Building, and would be happy to discuss their work further with anyone who is looking for a custom home builder or looking to embark on a large remodel project. "Set up an appointment with Sabrina. Creative D&B emailed me the day prior to confirm (from Lior Scott), which I did confirm in an email reply. The appointment passed without a call or email. I both called and emailed asking if they were planning on showing up - no response at all. It is now the day after, 3:40P local time and I have still not heard from anyone from Creative D&B. I don't see how someone would want to do business with a company that treats people with such disrespect."

"When we decided to update and refresh our condo in the Marina District, we got bids from several contractors. We felt that Luis, from R. M. Design, best understood our vision, his bid was reasonable, and his timeframe for starting the work coincided with our schedule. We very much appreciated that throughout the process Luis listened to our ideas while also giving us his expert advice. We know what we like, but he has a good eye and lots of experience. We know that his input and suggestions greatly improved the outcome of our project. We have always loved our place, but now we love it so much more. Also, Luis and his crew worked very well with our HOA association which has several rules and regulations regarding contractors and improvements. We had no complaints from the HOA nor our neighbors. He persistently worked with the city to get the building permit, finally ending a tedious 10 month process. Crews were here working every day. Each one of them was considerate, conscientious, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. Efrain and David communicated with us most days and were always accessible to us. My ADU is adorable and just what we wanted and I am sure that many contractors could have pulled it off. The important thing about Olalde is that they truly care and honestly want us to be happy."
