The office manager, Charles, Was a good communicator. The worker Ron, was friendly, and skilled some problems were contacted during the installation, but the company resolved issues to my satisfaction. The result was a perfect installation.

First project: I am very pleased with Repairs & Remodels On Demand (RROD). I was in the process of selling a property that was about 75 years old. The buyer's mortgage company had sent an inspector who noted several issues. Obviously I was under time pressure. RROD responded very quickly. I needed a hearth built in front of an existing fireplace. RROD advised me on what the current code requirements were. I selected material and the hearth was installed the next day. The inspector also reported six electrical issues, four plumbing issues in the kitchen and four in the bathroom. RROD repaired them all in two days. RROD sent a three man team. The timeline for the project was: Day 1, evaluate job and create estimate; Day 2, install hearth, correct electrical issues and begin plumbing work; Day 3, complete plumbing. On the fourth day I notified the buyer's agent to schedule the re-inspection; the inspection passed with no problems. Sale completed. Second project: In a rental property I own, a tenant wanted a laundry area. I had had the area plumbed but the walls had been opened to accomplish the plumbing. I needed the walls closed up, a short wall built, and the appliances installed. First day, evaluate job and create estimate. Two days later start and complete the job in two additional days. On the day after the completion, the tenant reported a problem with a door that had been installed. I went over and checked and she was correct. It was in mid-afternoon and I called RROD and reported the problem. They immediately scheduled an appointment for 8:00 AM the next morning (and repaired it on that visit). It was a small job with a small problem. The work looked very professional and the paint for the new areas matched the existing room colors. The point is, they do high quality work and they really do stand behind their work. I shall certainly use them again. I am very satisfied with their responsiveness and the high quality of work. The worst company that I have ever worked with. The owner collects all the money before he completes the tasks. I’ve had several contractors come in afterwards and tell me this is the sloppiest and most unprofessional work they have ever seen in the process of filing a complaint with the contractor labor board. They used a spray paint gun on my patio and got paint all over my kitchen windows and contaminated my family’s garden. Owner makes excuses and lies. Crooked door trim. They left baseboards out in the rain overnight and installed them. They purchased the wrong swinging door and hacked away to make it fit rather than purchasing the correct door. They damaged doors and painted over them. I will be following up with the lawsuit information. Stay away!!!!! You’re been warned Update: You can see from the owner's response that he simply deflects and tries to talk about unrelated issues. The pictures speak for themself and the quality of this company's work. I feel sorry for a company that has to lower themselves to slandering their customers rather than showing the good work they've done. They can't show any good pictures of my home simply because there are NONE! This again highlights the unprofessionalism of this company. I'll go ahead and attach a screenshot of the owner's response in the event he tries to change his response. Again, Avoid this company! There are many other contractors out there that do quality work. This is NOT one of them.

We had a number of repair and upgrade projects to do in our house and started searching for a contractor in March. We received bids from three different companies, but none of them followed through with a contract. Finally, in July, we received a recommendation for Remodels and Repairs On Demand and they turned out to be outstanding. Charles provided a detailed bid and was very flexible when we requested a couple of changes, even after the work had started. They stayed on schedule and kept us informed with each step of the process. Charles and his team from Repairs and Remodels On Demand were honest, polite, punctual, very well organized, easy to work with and finished the job on time. We are very pleased with their work and would highly recommend this company to others.

Went as expected and was always informed of any changes or delays.

I wish I could give zero stars I am so angry and disgusted with this company. We contracted Charles Gilbert's company to install patio doors and deck in November. The first worker Charles sent out stayed gone alot and we smelled alcohol on his breath. He had made several mistakes that my husband caught and spoke with him about. He apologized and sent a new crew out to correct and finish the work. The first set of doors they installed were in-swing instead of out-swing. Three weeks later, they brought a door that was the wrong size. We waited another three weeks. Finally, in FEBRUARY!!! they brought the correct door but they SHATTERED the glass during installation because they did not secure the door while working on it. Charles Gilbert promised to return in two weeks with ANOTHER door, then called and said he couldn't install until the first week in March. Now Charles is saying he can not install on the 19th, but instead, the 27th of March. Charles was condescending and patronizingi. He is refusing to finish the patio door. He and his company have been paid in full. They breached our contract twice previously. He is unscrupulous and fundamentally dishonest. He was given multiple opportunities to make these wrongs, right but chose instead to make excuses and offer lies. MY RECOMMENDATION: DONT HIRE HIM OR HIS COMPANY. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES.

All went very well, The work crews were here at 8am each morning and worked 'till 4 or 5pm daily. There was a lot of work to be done and it looks great! I would recommend RROD to everyone.

Excellent timely work , very responsive and ethical business...they are now my go to contractors. I live in a 60 year old house and it can be a challenge, Charles was here everyday to ensure the work was up to his high standards. I have no doubt you would be as pleased as I have been.

From meeting with the owner, Charles, right through the end of the project this was a great experience. Charles called daily to keep me updated, which I appreciated very much. The work crew, Lead person Ron, Joe, Alex, Martin the plumber, Heran the electrician, David the stucco person, were all very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Lots of precautions were taken to protect floors, walls etc. The work site was cleaned up daily at the end of the day. Overall, this company is GREAT! A BIG thanks to Charles and crew!!

Charles, his project managers (Ron and Alex), and crew did an amazing job. Both bathrooms exceeded are expectations and job was performed in a timely manner with constant communication with all aspects of project. The only delays were due to us selecting material not in stock locally...not really a delay. Crew was courteous and kept things clean and tidy during the project. After the majority of the project was complete, a cleaning crew showed up to deep clean bathrooms and general cleaning of the remainder of our home (dust happens during remodel). Price wasn't the least or most expensive and worth the price. Would definitely hire again.

Did not go well. He did not take into account the # of panels of curtains and ended up having to redrill and move the curtain rod anchors so i have 4 extra holes in the ceiling now.

R&R exceeded my expectations. Their work was exceptional, they were friendly and professional, they offered fair pricing, and when they were done they cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell any work had been done. Additionally, Even for a relatively small job the manager/estimator came out and visited while the work was being done to check in and make sure everything was going well.

Went smoothly. Work was great. Eddy was on time and professional. Price was high for work performed ($530 for 2-3h of work, plus transportation time) but we were crunched bc of the holidays and weren’t going to haggle. And we didn’t have time to get other bids based on our timeline (the other request for a quote came back with an option for early January).

We are very happy with the final outcome. We also had a few glitches that were resolved very well. Every remodel we have done involves a few surprises but we dealt with them together and Charles does a great job with communication.

I would recommend them they did a good job. The honesty of the owner was fantastic, he was easy to work with and resolved my issues.

They exceeded expectations. We would definitely use them again.

Went great! Charles, the owner of the company was always very friendly, communicative, punctual and professional. His staff were the same and very hard working. Every one was very patient with explaining things to me and answering all my questions. No matter what the job, they got it done and got it done right!:)

I needed to clean up/repair my rental condo after my tenant moved out. I only had two days available to have the work completed. That was a tall order! Charles and his team, lead by Jesse, were fantastic and made sure that the work was done on time and well. I so appreciated how Jesse helped me to make decisions on what parts of the job were necessary and what wasn't so that I could stay on budget. They were professional and trustworthy. Charles and his team at Repairs and Remodels on Demand were amazing. Charles helped us renovate our family home that was originally built in 1970. His team remodeled the entire home, including kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, paint, removed popcorn ceiling, new flooring and carpet, replaced the roof and more. Charles and his team also added canned lighting to the ceilings and improved/updated the electrical soundness of the home. There was also plumbing issues that needed to be addressed and Charles helped us through all these challenges, quickly and efficiently. My family is very grateful to Charles, he had a great attention to detail, communicated with us regularly through the process and the result was a beautifully upgraded home with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a home that is now being enjoyed by a young family. Thank you Charles and team, we will always be grateful to you.

It took me a while to write this review and I'm glad I waited 2 years to do it because I am able to say that the one year warranty was honored in a timely manner, and the quality of the work is evident 2 years later. Charles and his crew is incredibly respectful, professional, and kind. I've worked with a few different contractors now and no one measures up the the level of customer service, containment of the mess that comes with remodeling, and quality of work. Initially the shower tile was not looking good and Charles immediately replaced the tiler with someone else who corrected the job and did a fantastic job. There were 3 instances soon after the job was complete in which a few things needed to be repaired. Charles sent someone promptly and he fixed everything so that it did not need to be repaired again. Charles even hires someone to clean your house after the job. Although she doesn't do a great job, it helps to remove that initial layer of dust from all the furniture and floors. This was my first big remodel that I handled mostly on my own and so I needed more guidance in the design aspect. I was not happy with the color I picked for the cabinets or the size of the sinks I picked. Charles limits his input in the design, so you should know exactly what you want and how you want it. Compared to other contractors, Charles and his team are the best I've dealt with and offer good quality work. He may be a little more expensive but the extra cost saves you the torment of working with unprofessional contractors who may rip you off or do the job incorrectly and end up costing more to repair a bad job. I highly recommend Repairs and Remodels on Demand and want to thank Charles and his crew for their excellent work ethic, politeness, and caliber of work.

Everything went smooth. It was a pleasure to work with Charles and his team. Everyone was great. They showed great patience working with my mom who can be a bit demanding. They did a great job explain everything to us so we know what is going on and what was going to happen. I had great communication with Charles. He kept me up to date with everything. Made sure we were happy through out the progress. I would defiantly use Charles and his team for our future Repairs and Remodels

Work was done well but I think the price was too high given the amount of time they spent at my house. I bought an angie s list coupon for 4 hrs ($300) and he ended up Charing me an extra $700 for 2 more hrs work. I initially agreed to the estimate because I did not know what work is involved but after seeing that it was a little more than 6 hrs on 2 different days, I feel the price was unjust.

obviously not well price way out of line w/work needed so trying to use the $300 voucher that I had purchased was a joke

They we're fast, punctual and very professional. We will contact them again for future projects.
