"I was surprised that Mike answered my phone call on a Sunday after 5PM when my hot water heater broke. We agreed he would come Monday morning. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. My hot water heater had to be ordered as it is an older type of system. The next day, I noticed some leaking. Mike's son came out and stopped the leak and was able to restore hot water to our house (we have a 2 tank system) while we waited for the new one to arrive. The new tank arrived and they very promptly got it installed for us. I had been using a larger plumbing company that always charged an exorbitant fee just to show up at my front door. PMK Plumbing did NOT nickle and dime me like the larger plumbing companies do. I am delighted to find a personal, independent plumbing company for my future plumbing needs! Plumbing costs obviously vary from job to job. You can expect to pay anywhere from $225 - $400 for your average repair of a faucet or toilet. Frozen broken pipes are a much more difficult item to put a price tag on. The best course is to try to correct it as soon as possible: These tend to get worse rather than better, which means more costly. You will obviously be paying more for after hour emergency services, but time is of the essence.
