We last had our system pumped out several years ago, and that company had trouble finding it, and had to dig into my wife's garden. George and Eddie came out and had the technology and tools to find it and pump it. The digging was hard, and I had a lot of questions about the tank and its function. They were patient and thorough. I'll use them again.

Timely response and was able to repair on the spot when coming out for the estimate, with a very economical plan. Highly recommend.

CALL THESE GUYS FIRST! We have a drain in our basement that has overflowed for years. It's finicky and the problem comes and goes depending on the activity. We recently decided to fix it once and for all- we had THREE Rooter companies come out and all three provided different 'solutions'. Rooter-Man was the ONLY company to spend the time to determine the problem, test their theories and work tirelessly until the pipe was cleared out. The other companies had me prepared to spend TEN THOUSAND dollars with them to trench a new line in our backyard. Shane from Rooter-Man was honest, professional, nice, hardworking and knowledgeable. Technician Shane Moore and his helper Chris did a phenomenal job unclogging a very, very clogged drainage pipe at our house. After hours of sweat and hard work they were successful at unclogging years of sludge from the pipe! This was the second time that Shane has come to our rescue! He is a wonderful man and we appreciate all of his hard work and professionalism!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Jennifer (the admin person) got back to me quickly, and communicated very well. The guys - Jones and Jacinto - arrived when they were supposed to. They were very courteous and professional. Jones is incredibly knowledgeable. He went into great detail about my tank and system. He showed me how to install the effluent filter, identified an issue, and answered all of my _many_ questions. For all of the information and advice I received, and for how well Jones and Jacinto treated me, I feel like I got a bargain. My neighbors recommended this company to me - they said they had tried a bunch, and they were definitely the best. I completely agree.

Rooter Man did a great job pumping our septic tank. Very professional and efficient work on a tank that was near capacity. When finished our tank was in great shape. Reasonable price. We will hire them again. Recommended.

We've had our septic tank drained 6 times over the past 30 years and this is the best company yet. The two crew members, Jahkondeh and Robert, were professional, competent, and pleasant. They are the first crew to properly dig and refill the large hole, extracting and replacing the sod carefully and perfectly. No one has come close to their diligence and efficiency. I was offered great advice regarding the maintenance of my septic tank and septic field. I have never written a review like this before, but I felt the need to tell others to USE THIS COMPANY. A great service and a great value. I teach customer service for a living and this company, as represented by this crew, gets it right!

Very well, Very prompt response to request for estimate. Open about process, notified when all the parts were in, called ahead to see if they could come early. Plumber was upfront that he was a plumber and not a phone app expert. Installed shut off valve and took me through all the ways we could bypass if system ever failed. Fast.

Great experience. Came the same day I called and arrived early (notified me first). I had Dustin and Justin. Gave a price when they arrived and stuck to it, no surprises. These guys were great. Knowledgeable and very focused on making sure the work was done right plus, very personable and friendly. Enjoyed having them here. Would recommend over others in the same area.

Worker arrived on time and did preliminary checks of the water meter and the connection to the house. He then probed the ground where he suspected the water line was located, hoping to find evidence of a leak (probe would be wet upon withdrawal from ground.) Failed to find a likely area of the leak, so he said the company would have to dig up the entire 60-foot length from meter to house, by hand. Cost would be $6,400! Needless to say we called another business: Wayne Gentry Enterprises in Earlysville. The workers came out to the house, found the leak, and repaired it in less than an hour for what will likely be a bill of just several hundred dollars.

We needed to have an ole iron pipe replaced as well as galvanized lines replaced. A leak was found at the base of a toilet, and this was repaired. The interior of the toilet was also replaced. The job was well done, and the workman pleasant to work with. I thought they were a bit expensive, but I have not have this kind of work done in awhile. It took a couple of tries for the office to get my address and email correct for estimates to be sent, however. .. not the plumber’s fault.

Arrived quickly, did the job without wasting time, pleasant and helpful attitudes, and left the job site better than they found it.

Excellent service from those in the office and those who came to do the work. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

The man they came to my house, I would say was very nice, but lacked communication skills. Wasn’t worried about the mess, and the cost was crazy expensive.

Excellent communication. Arrived on time. He would not wire the water heater, so we did the wiring to the breaker box ourselves. He did a great job with the install to the tub. He also fixed a leak he discovered for another $150+. The entire project was very expensive, but I got two estimates and they were the same - but the other estimate included the wiring.

This is an update to the review I wrote yesterday. Adding insult to injury, the tub STILL LEAKS!!! The original review (edited and corrected because I was so upset when I wrote it): Do not hire this outfit. They've got a great scam going on here. They don't complete the job so you have to call them back to finish it and then they can charge you another service fee. We called and told them our issue was that 1) downstairs sink was draining slow and backing up; 2) the upstairs sink and tub was also draining slow and backing up; and 3) the upstairs tub was leaking. A pair of workers came to look at the job. They fixed the downstairs sink, found that the tub was leaking from the overflow, quoted me a price to fix that and cable the drains. Supposedly, we had scheduled this set of workers to come back to do the work, but it was a different pair of workers who came to do the job. On the day they were scheduled to do the work, they called and said they'd arrive in about an hour and it was 2 hours before they showed up. They replaced the overflow and part of the piping and stated they were done. When I inspected the job, I found the tub half-full of water that was just trickling down the drain. When I asked why it was still draining so slowly, they said it was because the pipe needed to be cabled. They claimed that no one had told them about the slow drains and all they were told to do was fix the overflow problem. Well, I had told them about the drains when they arrived, plus we told their customer service rep when we called AND the original pair of workers. They told me it would cost $200 more to cable the drain. Cabling the drain took less than 15 minutes, so they're basically charging $800+/hr to cable your drain. You're better off buying your own auger. You can get one for about $100 on Amazon. Anyway, they did that, said everything was draining fine, told me that they couldn't guarantee the cabling because I have galvanized pipes. They recommended running a sinkful of hot water through them every night to keep them clear. So, that evening I turn on the hot water tap to fill the upstairs sink and before the water even could warm up, the drain backs up! We called the next day to have them come back and fix what should have been fixed on the first call and at first they didn't even want to come. Then when they did come, they said (from the doorway, mind you) that the problem was the galvanized pipes (it wasn't) and they didn't even want to look at it or offer a solution. After they saw how disgusted I was, they did come in and look at it and (finally!) fixed it. Then they recommended that we replace the rest of the galvanized pipes. So I asked for a quote and when they gave me that, they charged us for another service call! When I expressed outrage over that, they said the charge was for the quote. I said I would have never asked for one if I knew they were going to charge $60 for it. Then they said well, it's because they fixed the sink. If they had fixed it right the first time, we wouldn't have had to call them back! Then they said, well any time they're dispatched, we they charge the customer no matter what. Well, they'll never get another dime from us! They don't listen to or respect the customer and they don't take responsibility ("nobody told us" "we didn't know about ___" "we have no say over the pricing, we're just workers", etc). We certainly DO NOT recommend them.

The Rooter Man employees arrived the same day. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up any mess they created. Their price was very reasonable and I would definitely hire them again.

My husband asked that I call a plumbing services to locate a D box on a job site. He told me companies not to call and just pick a good one. I searched the internet and chose Rooter Man by their ratings and location. My husband and I could not have been more pleased. From the kind customer service of Jennifer and the diligent, prompt and thorough work of Mr. Jones and his partner. We were so impressed we had them pump our home tank. Again, we received the same excellent customer service from the same individuals. This company is top notch! In a world where people are to busy to be kind and care about customer service, this company is the opposite and should be considered the gold standard for others to immolate!

Norma in the office was very helpful. Technician was here in less than an hour. The technician's name was Robert. He was very careful to make sure I understood what he was going to do and the price. He unclogged the blockage very quickly and explained exactly what he had done. Very impressed with the professionalism of everyone I dealt with, highly recommend Rooter Man.
