Additional DBA - Mario's Tile and Marble.
"Stay away from this Company. The owner is dishonorable and does not take accountability. Back in 2014, my company cashed checks for two employees of Tony (Antonio Mario) amounting to $1,450 owed. The checks bounced so I contacted the owner, who made arrangements to stop by my location. He never showed up and cut contact. I reached back out in January 2022 via e-mail and received a response that the Company is still in business. I asked for repayment with photo evidence of the bounced checks and text message interaction screenshots from 2014. Tony asked for 4 days to review his records. I did not hear back from him again. I would avoid Tony and his company at all costs."

Rivah Remodeling and Repair, LLC primarily works directly with the home or business owner. We will provide services as a sub-contractor when requested. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments.
"The project started out with an expected completion date of 2 weeks. The workers initially showed up erratically then gradually tapered off. Additional damage was found that was apparently there long before we bought the house in 2016 but we were told any further work would need be stopped until we were able to finance an additional $10,000 + leaving other areas of the floor and insulation unfinished. We were also expected to pay costs outside of the terms of the original contract or threatened with a lien on our home. We asked the contractor come back and complete the flooring up to the area the area of additional repairs with the agreement to prepay to make it safer for our toddler while we were in the process of refinancing our house to be able to pay for the additional repairs. Mr. Hammond has only contacted us through email taking up to several days for a response and refused to return any of our calls or text messages then mostly recently advised us that he had larger more time consuming jobs to complete and didn't know when he could get back to our job and suggested we hire another contractor."

The average cost to repair a fireplace is $575. You might pay anywhere from $95 to $2,500, depending on the severity of repairs and the type of fireplace. A typical repair of an igniter can range from $100 to $150. However, if you need to repair your mantel, expect the bill to be anywhere from $500 to $1,200. Wood fireplaces tend to cost more to repair due to specialized labor costs. Electric fireplaces tend to be the most cost-effective to repair, along with gas.
The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.
Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.
The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.
If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
Yes, it can be worth installing a gas fireplace, depending on your home heating needs. The cost to install a gas fireplace can be much lower than the cost to install a comparable wood-burning fireplace. The convenience of starting a fire with the flip of a switch and turning it off just as quickly makes a gas fireplace a big time saver over starting and maintaining a wood-fueled fire. A gas fireplace also does not require ash cleanup or frequent chimney cleaning to remove creosote and other buildup that can lead to chimney fires. Gas fireplaces burn and heat much more cleanly than wood fireplaces.
A gas fireplace insert costs about $3,600 to install, on average. The cost to install a gas log insert ranges from about $700 to $6,500, depending on the size, type of insert, how it works, and heating needs. Gas fireplaces need electrical and gas lines installed properly, so hiring a pro is recommended rather than trying to DIY installation.
