"I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5 star offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone."

"I called Nate and he was able to fit me in quickly. He took a screen I thought didn't fit in a window and re-screened it then he put it back and showed me how to get a screen out easier. He even looked at another screen I was having trouble with and gave me a suggestion how to correct a problem with it. He did great work and explained what he was doing along the way while I watched him do it. I highly recommend him!"

"Our journey with West Shore Homes began with us just wanting to replace an unsafe garden tub in the basement. After reviewing additional options with Brandon, (our design consultant) it was an easy decision for us to move forward in upgrading our master bath shower and the main bathroom tub as well. The 1st day of 3, we had Kimball, Riley, & Dylan working on the master bath, they had to come back the next day to finish. Carson, Fredy and Logan installed & completed the basement shower the 1st day . Carson, Fredy and Kyle returned a week later, because our tub arrived in the wrong color, they completed the main bath installation in 1 day. The teams were courteous, professional and explained the process in detail. The transformation of our three bathrooms is incredible and well worth the 3 day interruption. For these reasons it is easy to rate West Our journey with West Shor Homes with 5 stars and we would recommend them to anyone we know that is interested in a bathroom remodel. "

"I feel elder abuse was used with me. They sent three guys out for a job that only needed one, after an hour they all took off for an hour or longer lunch. All they did was paint two walls and both sides under a bar, replace mop boards and painted same area. They were suppose to put new kickboards in the kitchen but forgot. They didn't speak English, well, they said they didn't. The head guy spoke broken English. I was charged over $1800 for this, it should have taken one person 3hrs to complete this. I had four people here for two days, absolutely ridiculous. Tom Shaggy showed up at my door out of nowhere and said he listens to the insurance companies and goes to get work that way. I feel this company is totally untrustworthy, as one of the guys tried to take a gallon of my Sherwin Williams paint. He also broke a $65 lamp and told his company he didn't break it, funny, it wasn't broken before he got near it. I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone. They are 3 to 4 times too expensive, try to steal paint and break objects then try to hide it. I haven't been this disappointed in a company since the last crooked contractor I hired 6yrs ago. Are they all liars?"
