5 Star Kitchen and Bath

I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5 star offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone.

They mssed the first phone consultation they scheduled with me. Claimed they dialed the wrong area code. Then after I followed up, they said they would send someone to evaluate and give a bid. That never happened. After I followed up again, no response to my texts. Apparently my job is too small for them and that's fine, but please be professional and just decline the job

I am incredibly impressed with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. We had a leak in our shower, and were unable to simply repair the leak without ripping out a whole bunch of stuff. We decided to go ahead and update the bathroom and went with 5 Star. Kim was excellent in helping us design a bathroom that kept our current footprint. I am going to tell you it was quite expensive, (I'm still struggling with the cost of it, but it's part of life now I suppose) but you definitely get what you pay for. Ethan, Brady, Ron, Ben, and Austin did an excellent job. Communication in a job like this is key for a concerned homeowner, and these gentlemen always let me know what was happening and answered any questions I had. To be able to have one contact person and our new bathroom almost compete (waiting on custom shower glass!) in under two weeks has been amazing. I looked into doing the bathroom myself, but there was no way I had the contacts - or time - to go with a bunch of general contractors, plumbers, electrical, tile people, etc. Having one group complete the entire bathroom was so wonderful. I was comfortable having them in my home, and they cleaned up every day before they left. They even took care of my dog when she got a little clingy due to a thunderstorm. I would definitely recommend 5 Star to anyone.

Had cabinets removed and a shower installed in my downstairs bathroom. Coleton Knight did an excellent job installing the shower and moving the toilet and vanity over as well. Great workmanship and very professional! Explained in detail and answered all my questions! Thanks to Brandon the salesman as well. Love my new shower ❤️

I had 5 star kitchen and bath come remodel my bathroom. They did such a great job. the installers were great at making sure I was happy and that everything was perfect for me. I also had a sliding glass door put in. My old one had fallen apart before my scheduled install date. I called them and they found a way to get it put in early. I'm very happy with everything they did and I would use them again.

Ricky, Ryan, Trapper, and Brandon did a great job installing our new shower. We live in an old home and the shower had previously been re-done, but the tiling job wasn't good quality, so we had problems with water leaking through to the walls and floor. 5-star did a great job replacing all the parts that had damage, and they did a superb job installing the shower and making sure that it was completely sealed. We're confident that this time our shower will last forever. They did all of this in just one day. Thanks guys!

Ricky did the bath install along with Ryan, Matthew and Froylan. I can't say enough good things about them. Ricky was meticulous and the install exceeded my expectations!

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW OF PROBLEMS: TIMELINE - SIX DAY TIMELINE ESTIMATED --- IT TOOK THEM 99 DAYS TO COMPLETE - Shower was Unusable for 13 days (They estimated two) - Kitchen was not functional for 26 days - Garage was not functional for 61 days EXTEREME LACK OF COMMUNICATION/FOLLOW THROUGH QUALITY OF WORK - Bathroom - Showerhead etc. installed off center - Extremely poor-quality Caulking job - Their employees creating dents/scratches in brand new tub - Kitchen - Poor-Quality Drywalling - Garage - Siding purchased 32 days after original end date of project - Exposed Wood on exterior of home - Extremely Poor-Quality Drywalling - Left Mud/Drywall on floor – took us 3 hours to scrape/clean up This entire process was extremely disappointing and not what we thought we were going to be getting or paying for. In no way, shape or form did we receive anything close to or resembling 5 Star service in way of treatment, quality, professionalism, timeliness etc

5 Star Kitchen and Bath has just completed a full remodel of 1 master bath and 2 full baths in my home. My review is primarily based on the end result, and I have to say my new bathrooms are FANTASTIC! It was a huge job, as all bathrooms were completely demolished and then rebuilt from the floor up to the ceilings in solid tile. I was lucky to have two main installers assigned to my home for the duration of the job: Froilan and Devon. Their work is truly amazing. They consulted us continuously during the job to make sure every element came out just perfectly. They were always on time and dependable. They were so clean, courteous and respectful - we enjoyed having them at our house for several weeks. We trust them and their work is high quality. Our Project Manager for the job was Zach. He was also great to work with. Anytime I had questions about what was included or not included in the price, he was very fair and empathetic. I definitely recommend you hire 5 Star Kitchen and Bath for your remodeling projects. I was so nervous to do this, but now I'm extremely satisfied and can't believe these beautiful bathrooms are actually in my own home!

We needed a new shower and bathroom sink in our master bathroom. Got 3 estimates. Brad Watson from 5 Star gave the best presentation. He was very helpful in designing a senior friendly shower while also keeping the costs down. We have hired them to remodel our bathroom.

5 Star Kitchen and Bath really lives up to their name. We had our old shower replaced with a beautiful new one. The process was easy, fast, friendly and affordable. We met Walter and Jonathan at the Home Show. Chanler and Carson came to our home, tore out the old shower and replaced it with a bigger better and more comfortable one. Both Chanler and Carson were friendly, fast, on time, professional and very clean. Donny, the project manager, came out during the project to make sure everything was going as planned and to make sure we were happy. We are definitely very happy. If you need any kind of bathroom remodel I strongly suggest you call 5 Star for a quote. You will not regret it. THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!

They're wonderful. When they first came to the house, they showed on their computer how everything would look upon completion and also gave several different options of quality to choose from. They came when they said they would. They worked until the job was finished with really high quality work.

It went wonderful. They were quick, efficient, and very friendly to work with. We've been very pleased. I would recommend them. And we will be using them again.
