Description of Work: Rotorooter was called to locate and clear a clog in my household drains. The company sent a technician who use a inline camera to locate a vegetative root intrusion into the three inch sewer drain line just three feet from the drain clean-out. After clearing and determining that no further damage was detected in the drain line from the clean-out to the main sewer line, an estimated price was given. Later, the repair was made satisfactorily by Roto-Rooter.

Description of Work: Had a break in my water main outside my house. A PVC pipe had broken. I dug down to the break myself. Plumber gave me a free estimate. His cost - $430.00. Got Prince Plumbing and Mechanical to do it for only $175.

+ -1 moreI called Roto Rooter and they got someone out ASAP. James and Josh checked everything out, found a new faucet to my specifications. They called with the cost of the faucet and estimate of installation, for my approval. The guys came out and installed the new faucet but James was not satisfied with the length of one of the lines and decided to replace it. He worked with me on "when" to drop by and replace the short line with the longer one with no additional charge. Both guys were great with my dogs and I know the dogs will miss their visits. James has helped me before and I really respect his work and his suggestions. The company is very concerned with customer service.
Description of Work: This is not the first time these guys have rescued me. A few years ago they completed replaced sewage pipes in the back yard, a garbage disposal and two toilets. Not too long ago it was the bathtub faucet, this time is was the kitchen faucet. I had a leak that the Temple water dept would be most upset about.

+ -1 moreLied to twice by Alex, four holes in walls and not fixed! UPDATE Although Alex had issues with finding the leak the problem was solved by the owner.
Description of Work: I understand the nature of the plumbing business is not an easy one and that solving a problem is different in every house however after two days, a hole in my front lawn and four holes in my house your technician still has no clue how to shut water off to a leaking pipe under the slab of my home. I have been more than patient and understanding however every moment this person cannot figure out the problem costs me money both to Roto Rooter and the City of Killeen for all the water that has turned my front lawn into a pond. I would like to point out that before I called your company it was a minor leak but thanks to all your technicians hard work it is no longer that. Also I find it odd that I had him out here Saturday for two hours which he gave up because he didn’t have/bring a “device that listens to the pipe” and so he told me I would get a call from the office Monday to set up a time for him or someone else to come out. Not only did I have to call your office, but he again didn’t bring said device. Which brings to my final point, if your website says you are open 24/7 why then did my problem have to wait 48 hours for a follow up? Why do I have to pay now over $675 dollars for service that doesn’t solve the problem and in fact made it worse? I have half a mind to take this mater to small claims at this point for gross negligence for damage to my house i.e. the four holes in my wall, for damage to my yard, and to recover fees I paid in good faith to your company for a resolution to my problem. UPDATE After the issues listed above I contacted Roto Rooter, they sent out another team to my house and to my surprise one of the guys was the owner of the business. He worked along side the other plumber, he was extremely professional and he and the other plumber found the leak and fixed it. If not for Mike (the owner) coming out this company would have lost my business, and I was looking into legal recourse. In this day and age it is rare for a business owner to take such a hands on approach. I would recommend this company to anyone and if there was a higher score then A they would have got it after the service I received from the owner and the other plumber .

+ 1 moreRoto Rooter fixed my out take valve. He dug up the ground, it was 2 valves, and he had to replace it to get to that crack. He dug up the yard where the problem was. He did good, I have not had any problems with it.

+ -1 morehad a faucet leak. had already removed the wall for access. serviceman showed up, dressed nice enough, but wanted $120 just for showing up. he didnt have parts to fix my issue. did cap off one of my lines so that i could turn water back on. showed me in his book where he could order and replace faucets for $395 or if i ordered the part, they would be happy to install it for $290. the part cost me $24 via internet and i did the work myself.i understand the emergency that i had costs, but labor and parts were way out of the normal range. if you do use the service, their website has coupons for discounts.but i wont use again.

+ 1 moreWhile snaking the line from the roof, the tech broke the toilet in the master bathroom. They did replace the toilet at no cost to me, however I found the bill to be expensive when compared to rates for these services by other contractors in the area. I will not use them again.
Description of Work: I contacted the company to unclog a kitchen sink on 02/23/04. They did that. Less than 2 weeks later (03/06/04) they had to return because the sink was continuing to drain slowly. They said the line must not have been completely cleared the first time.

She took my information and was able to get someone out to my house within a few hours. The dispatcher called me when the technicians were one their way to let me know who would be showing up. The technicians were great! They came in, looked at the problem, and because it was so simple to fix it was no charge. They were awesome and I will definitely use them in the future!

+ 0 moreOur hot water heater had a major leak and we required emergency services to resolve the problem. We had to have a new hot water heater and a high quality new one on very short notice. We went to Angie's list and found out that this Roto Rooter plumbing provider performed 24-hour emergency services and had only top "A" ratings, so we used him. It was a wise choice. Our problem was resolved expertly and quickly. It was a bit pricey. We could have saved some money by shopping elsewhere but timeliness, quality, reliability and professionalism mattered greatly to us. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. In this case we paid a little more and in return got the best of everything in merchandise, service, timeliness, quality and professionalism. We highly recommend this plumbing service provider to anyone and will happily use him again if the need arises.

They are about as good and their price is lower than anybody else that I have tried. I can’t complain about anything they did. I very definitely would use their services again in the future.

They were very thorough and there was nothing that I disliked about their service. They seemed like they were very courteous, accommodating and knew what they were doing. I have insurance with a particular company and the guy wanted a whole bunch of money because he said that it might break. So we got Roto-Rooter and they fixed it. I will use their services again in the future.

+ -1 moreHad a slab leak recently and the plumbers came in and listened to the floor and they were able to pinpoint exactly where the leak was and jackhammer through the foundation there. After they fixed the leak, they cleaned up their mess and poured concrete in the hole. They had to tear up only ONE tile to get to the leak! The cost was about $100 less than originally estimated. After using a smaller plumbing company once, and they charged me an hour extra to go pick up plumbing parts, I decided to go with a larger, more establised company. I've used Roto Rooter several times (we have alot of plumbing issues) and they've always done a good job, the cost seems reasonable, and they are fairly punctual.

+ 0 moreWe had a really dry summer. He told me that it was really dry and that's why we could hear sounds. He was timely. They came out the same day I called. I thought he was reasonable. He came back the next day because the work wasn't done properly. He didn't charge me the second time. I think when he first came out he didn't realize that there was still some accumulation there. I have used Roto-Rooter Group in the past which was years ago. It was the same person whom I had used back then who came out this time. He was already familiar with my house. He was definitely worth the money I paid.
