Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Excellent, could not ask for better service

Professional. Totally professional. The technician BJ showed up and quickly went to the dishwasher to see what was going on and why it was leaking. Well, it was a simple error in part of the plumbers who had worked on my kitchen drain a few days prior. Although it was a simple procedure I still expected to get charged for the service call but BJ declined payment and said that there was no charge. I couldn't believe it! Most plumbers would have charged something especially since it was on a late Saturday evening. This type of service is not seen too often. I highly recommend this business for all your plumbing needs. They are the epitome of what customer service is all about! Thanks BJ! You are the man!!

The two gentlemen who handled the situation were timely, friendly and professional. They did a great job. My only gripe was the flat fee. In the future, despite the excellent experience, I will probably spend more time seeking out a professional who charges by the hour. Even if you pay for an hour (usually the minimum), it would be a lesser cost. The cost was a bit hard to swallow for less than an hour's worth of work. The last time I had an individual plumber clear a clog (in the Washington D.C. suburbs) about a year ago, I paid less than half of this amount.

Saturday morning we realized we were going to have a main sewer line backup. Called Roto Rooter and they came asap (we live in Waco). The technician, BJ, had the equipment to quickly diagnose the problem and the expertise to solve it. He explained the issue very clearly and then proceeded to fix it. He was very professional and courteous. We will definitely call Roto Rooter for all our plumbing needs in the future.

Went great. Technicians came out about 3 hours after we called them. Very polite and took their time explaining exactly what the problem was and how they would fix it. Was very impressed with the timeline between my call to them and the time the technicians showed up. It was a Friday and two other plumbing companies stated that they could be out sometime later in the afternoon.

All went well except the cold water shut off valve is leaking.

Never got a chance to find out "how'd it go?" Didn't respond for three days. Found a more responsive provider. F.W.I.W., NAGY Plumbing in Belton TX is great. Fast, price is right and responds immediately.

I gave the local Roto-Rooter an "A" rating because once I got a hold of them, they were out at my house in less than 2 hours to unclog a bathroom drain. The serviceman, James, put on covers over his footwear every time he came into the house. He gave us an estimate upfront for the cost of the service ($210). At first he used the snake under one of the sinks in the master bedroom but ended having to have access under the second sink so as to use a camera to guide the snake to the main drain. It didn't take long to get the line unclogged. I do have a one negative thing to say about how Roto-Rooter is set up on Angie's List. There is a link to a $30 off coupon and you can request service on-line. I did this and no one contacted me. The clogged drain was an inconvenience and I did not consider it an emergency as all the other sinks in the house were draining. 18 hours later, I went back to the website to get the telephone number of the local office (in which you have to click on a link for it). I explained the situation and the office personnel explained that they have never been able to get the on-line notification part working. The notification goes to the national office and not the local office. If you have an emergency, call the local office directly. I am not happy that I could not take advantage of the $30 off coupon. I was, however, able to use a $10 off coupon I found at the local Roto-Rooter website.

Brent and helper arrived asap. Run 3/8" cable down drain, then ran water from washer to make sure line was open. Both gentlemen were very professional and courteous.

Should have known better, first when I called they denied that the coupon listed on here was done so by them, then they said print it out and they'd honor it. I waited all day for someone to come out and give me an estimate, I called at around 1 pm and they didn't show up until after dinner time (almost 7pm I think). Then the tech tells my husband that its going to be $165 for him to go under the house and give us an estimate! I told them exactly what the problem was when I called, and that we have a pier and beam house that's like 3.5 feet off of the ground so it's easy access. I'll never call them again, nothing but a waste of my time.

I remember though that I had to spend over $200 to have them come out. They came and they did what they needed to do and that was it. I just thought they were a little expensive.

They arrived when they said the would, fixed the leak in record time, and left the area cleaner than they found it.

It went great - Brent installed my new water heater. He was very efficient, cleaned up and made sure everything was working properly. Answered all my questions. They are great and I cannot see myself using anyone else.

The Craftsmen showed up early and started the repair. From start to finish (not including the dry wall repair) took a little over two hours. The two young Craftsmen were very polite and knowledgeable.

Service was done professionally. Plumber was right on time.

Went good. Was nice and courteous. Work preformed was done in timely manner and quick. Cleaned up the area when he was done. Will use them in future definitely.

Just did the capping off the main water pipe line that I hit when mowing my yard. Though the technician did to dig about maybe 10 inches deep to the ground. I turned the water off and suffered no water running in the house overnight because I can't have somebody come and help me fix it. Yeah know, it happened on a Saturday while everybody is enjoying the weekend out of town with the family. I called every plumbing company on the phone list but it's only Roto-Rooter which is available on the weekend. They came out to my place at approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes. They did the job for 25 minutes to include the drying of the glue. The price was way too high, (more than double the price of most local plumbing businesses around the area since I have the same problem the last year at the other location) not even what most people said "a little bit high". Yes, they appear at my door looking professional, neat uniform and has covered their shoes which is primarily just right if they were have to conduct this kind of business. Don't get me wrong, I used to supervised maintenance workers.

It was a pretty nasty job and to fix it required a combination of snaking the drain, flushing and scoping. They had to go up in there through about 8 feet of back up. We have a parallel pipeline that runs across the top of the house and it was backed up for quite some time. I thought they were very honest and were diligent and good at what they were doing. The guy even called in a second opinion.

They're good but pricey. You can get them on the weekend and in the evening and at night

Having just moved into our new house we were dismayed to discover that the water heater did not work. Given the high ratings on Angie's list we contacted this provider. They responded immediately. Technician was knowledgeable and informed, and explained several options. We chose to replace the water heater. My only reason for including a B in the price rating was that the hourly charge seems high COMPARED TO WHERE WE COME FROM. We also found the HVAC hourly rate to be about $20.00 higher than we paid in Washington State, so Texas may just be a bit more expensive.

My garbage disposal was leaking. I discovered it in the evening. The next morning (Christmas Eve!) I called and they had a service technician out before noon. He installed a new one as the old one had deteriorated so much water, etc was leaking from the bottom. He got that done really fast and before he left he unclogged one of my bathroom sinks that had been draining slow for quite awhile. He did not charge me for that. Very friendly, had on protective coverings on his shoes before he came in the house. I will definitely call them again when the need arises.

A plumber was sent to our house the same day we called. He was courteous and wore coverings on his shoes to keep our floors clean. He seemed to be experienced; however, we elected to have service performed by another company as Roto-Rooter's quote seemed unusually high.
