"Absolutely avoid Pioneer Home Services at all costs!!!!!!!!!! I had the misfortune of dealing with them when our A/C went out, and I chose them based on their seemingly great Google reviews. However, my experience was a nightmare. Their technician, Michael Miller, tried charging me a ridiculous $1100 for a simple capacitor and contactor switch. That only amounted to $40 online and 15 minutes of work. He actually tried to claim the parts alone were worth $800, which was beyond ridiculous. When I tried to verify the parts cost myself, Michael seemed hesitant and evasive about the quote, which immediately raised red flags. Later on, he quoted me $392 for the same job, which just added insult to injury. Save yourself the headache and find another HVAC company that actually values its customers. Pioneer Home Services, especially the technician Michael Miller, are the poster children for why people shouldn't rely solely on Google reviews to judge a company's credibility. AGAIN, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!"

"They did a good job and the workers were great the only issue i have is they didnt install a water shut off even though i had one in the old system and i wasn’t told the price i was given to do the job didnt include one until the end of the job i would have paid extra for it i had to change a water filter since the job was done and i have to go to the street to turn off the water if i have a busted line in winter and the box is covered in ice and snow how will i get the water off this is my only gripe about the work no full disclosure i was in a rush to get it fixed it was leaking bad they should disclosed that when the estimate was done its made me rethink using them in the future"

"Their repairman determined our kitchen faucet had a leak in the hose that connects to the pull-out spray head, that part was not replaceable and we would have to replace the whole faucet. He had one on the truck he could sell us, installed, for about $500 or we could provide our own which he would install for $250. I told him we would get back with him after we looked at faucet options. By chance, I Googled our faucet and I found that not only was the part replaceable there dozens of companies who sell it. It was VERY replaceable. $20 and 24 hours later Amazon delivered one to our house. 10 minutes later it was installed in our kitchen. This is why people don't trust repair services. Either their man lied to us or didn't know enough to provide the correct answer. Either way, we deserved better from a company who claims their level of experience. I would have gladly paid for labor and the cost of this part from your service man. This was just blatant opportunism. This was the 2nd time we used that company. There will not be a third."
