"Do not hire Joel of Legendary Builders. He built a composite Trex deck for us back in May, 2019. We are still waiting on him after almost 2 years of excuses to come back and make repairs on a few issues. Issue #1 --Had Joel done his research in our township, LMT, he should have known that the township was going to require an inside handrail down the spiral staircase. Joel installed a piece of metal that was twisted and scratched for over $1000 just to pass the code inspection after he was paid his $72,000. The railing looks horrible and completely takes away from the whole look of the deck. We paid a lot of money for the Trex. We asked him several times, please take the railing down, install something else that looks more cohesive to the look of the Trex, even if it ended up costing us more money. Another option, we asked him to take the railing down and patch the holes with something. After several texts and phone calls, Joel has never made good on anything. Always, some excuse as to why he could not provide a resolution to what he installed. Took the money and ran! In addition, we have a bent door frame, rusting hardware, and trim work that is peeling away. I repeat... you should not hire him, you will be disappointed."

"After interviewing several contractors, we hired Gleason{ removed company name} contracting for an extensive fireplace renovation and hardwood floor installation project, and we are so glad we did. Mike and his team refaced our oversized brick fireplace with stacked stone, custom cutting, color matching, and fitting the stone throughout perfectly. Work requiring attention to detail, like the interior of wood box, corners, and installing and finishing the drywall accommodations for mounting the tv, look absolutely outstanding. The hearth was so wide that we could not find a precut slab, but Mike had a connection with a stone mason who fabricated a beautiful, singular blue stone slab approximately ten feet in length, solving yet another challenge. In addition to the fireplace place, they laid the flooring, and stayed on to paint the walls and ceilings. During the work, communication was great. We were kept up-to-date on progress and future work plans. Any questions or concerns were thoughtfully addressed, and all work was done with the utmost care and craftsmanship. We highly recommend Gleason { removed company name} Contracting and will definitely use them for our next project."
