"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

"Ghosted! Kyle came to inspect the job and provide a quote. NO quote was ever produced. Scheduled him anyway because we needed our toilet repaired. I took a day off of work... Kyle never showed. He rescheduled for the following week and my wife took a day off work to stay home for the job... you guessed it, another no show. After that he stopped returning all calls and texts... never an explanation. Please save yourselves and don't even start down a path with M.T. Simoncavage plumbing."

"In searching for a "local" mover (in west stockbridge ma) for a simple, "atypical" ask, I contacted the 1st 10 or so google provided.. and all said they don't actually serve the area AND had high minimums. Thankfully I went one further and got to Crockett the owner of Camel Moving and Storage. We chatted for a bit. I shared my need- to move my 84 yo Dad's 150 lb recumbent bike 2 floors up in the house. Crockett LISTENED to me, didn't insist on 3+ HOURS of time and dime and thought "Outside the box"! Within days he got the job done, and Dad is so happy. Crockett is Absolutely a customer 1st operation!!! No job is too big or small and I understand he is a specialist in moving fine art and pianos too. thank you Crockett for saving our backs- pun intended!"

"Exceptionally well. Frank, Sly and Matthew were careful, considerate and efficient. Pieces of furniture were moved from house to house as was needed. 3 men for 8 hours of hard work. Couldn't have gone better!"

"Awful Experience!!! I would give them negative stars if I could! Transit Systems is a terrible company with horrible customer service, and they subcontracted with an even worse company called Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery. I paid $1,500 for 'white glove service' to have a dining room table, 3 table leaf extenders, six wooden dining chairs and an antique sewing table moved from Memphis to KC. The guy showed up and stacked the furniture on top of each other in the truck without any packing material (no blankets, not bubble wrap, no cardboard) just wood touching wood. My brother-in-law took pictures, and wouldn't sign the paperwork. The guy got mad, shut the truck door and drove off with my stuff. We called both companies and they said they could not do anything until the stuff arrived. It took 3 weeks for the truck to arrive and they sent an email saying it arrived at a warehouse in Nashville but would not tell me what condition it was in. It was delivered two months later in pieces. All the broken table legs and chair arms and broke table leaf dumped in a box with no padding and the box had all kinds of rips and wholes in it. All of my chairs were scratched up, there was a huge round water mark, where some idiot set a drink on my sewing table. And it is now 4 months later and I can't even get them to return my email or phone messages. I'm having to take legal action. They hire people who are inept of doing their job well and lack integrity. Businesses are run from the top down so that tells you a lot about the kind of people running both companies... ZERO INTEGRITY about doing the right thing for their customers & ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't use them. You will not get the service you pay for and have damaged furniture on top of that."
