Dave went around the entire house and applied a metal barrier, supplemented by copper mesh. He explained everything clearly. He did trapping prior to the seal up; he called prior to each visit. There were a few other very minor things that needed to be done that he took care of without asking for additional $$$."

Trust a TRAINED professional, not some fly by night that claims to be a chimney sweep. Did you know that a chimney without a flue cap gets the same amount of rain inside the smoke chamber and smoke shelf area during a rain storm as a five gallon bucket would placed outside without a lid on it? He penciled me in for the spring/summer and recommended an upgraded damper to cut down on drafts when not in use.
