"I was overcharged for replacing a shower faucet cartridge. The plumber inspected the leak and ask me to sign a quote for $600 - which he said would cover the labor for the removal of the old cartridge. He said he needs to melt it out with a torch and may take an hour or two to remove the old one. The $600 covers all labor and parts. I signed the quote. He open up the shower, removed the leaking cartridge and replace with a new one in 15 minutes. He stayed in the bathroom answering emails for 10 minutes because he was embarrassed - and when I confronted him - he said it came out easily - but still charged me $600 since I already signed the service agreement."

Jones Services is now a NO CONTACT service company. Our plumbers, electricians and HVAC technicians are running NO CONTACT service calls. We literally stand in different rooms than our customers, emailing or reading out loud our findings. No handshakes, no paperwork, not even allowing customers to touch iPads. Our technicians wear disinfected gloves, use disinfected tools and whip down anything their gloves and tools touch after servicing equipment. We practice NO CONTACT at work now too. Technicians are not allowed in the office, equipment and parts are delivered to their trucks in the parking lot. Only one employee per vehicle. All company meetings are conducted via Zoom. Most office personal are working from home. Those in the office work apart from each other. No one wants to be quarantined with their toilets backing up, without water or electricity or heat or hot water and now without air conditioning or air filtration or air purification. All Weather provides sales, installation, service and maintenance of residential and commercial heating, air conditioning & water filtration systems.
"They installed a minisplit cooling system, with 3 exchanges June 2021. Since then it is not operating the way it should. In my bedroom with the door closed at night on cool at 70 degrees the humidity goes up to 80%. I wake up uncomfortable, change it from cool to dry mode. The humidity will go down into the 50% range but the temperature drops down to 62 or less! So in cool or dry mode I can't get a good nights sleep! They come and look at it and tell me everything is fine. I'm going to buy a window air conditioner tomorrow which seems insane because i spent $10,000 on this minisplit AC system!"
