A premier flooring company in the Carolinas, MyNewFloor.com was founded by a talented, design savvy professional with 15 years of experience in designing and installing a variety of flooring products. Our company is built on the principles of honesty, quality, craftsmanship, and a sincere effort to provide 100% customer satisfaction! You can be sure that only our professional, knowledgeable and experienced installers will complete all the work for you. We do not sub-contract any of our projects.

"LVP looks great and tile in the kitchen look great but the trim and baseboards were not finished and I had to have another contractor come in and install them. The stairwell was sanded and stained and I was told they could match the stain for the stairs to the LVP and that wasn’t true either. The stairs came out pink. Now I’m having another contractor come in and fix. I would not recommend to a friend."

Carpet Dryclean Inc continues to be an owner operated business with 17+ technicians and office management. We differ from our competitors because we use no water leaving your carpet, rugs and upholstery 100% dry and ready for use. Also our rates are for a full service with no hidden fees or charges and our system is organic and eco-friendly. We not only service the Greater Raleigh-Durham area but we also service the Greater Fayetteville NC area. We also have offices in Charlotte, Greensboro and Goldsboro.

"They are terrific, especially VICTOR! They are on time, communicative, attentive, professional, quick and do a GREAT job! Carpet Dryclean cleans carpets the right way --mysterious stains do not re-appear after carpets have been cleaned. And, they refill our bucket of stain remover so we can take care of little stains in between their coming to clean the next time. Additionally, Carpet Dryclean is reasonable priced all time time --no gimmicks; they are simply less expensive than the other steam cleaning company. I highly recommend them!"

"We are extremely disappointed with the hardwood floors sold by Moeen Niazi of Carpet & Flooring Liquidators of Pineville, NC, and installed by Axcel Gomez of Legacy Floor Services. We originally ordered 3.75-inch manufactured hardwood. Due to delays on the seller’s side, our closing was postponed. By the time we closed, Moeen Niazi informed us that they had sold the flooring we had ordered. The installer discovered that the 5-inch manufactured hardwood was defective. Moeen Niazi offered to install and finish unfinished hardwood floors at no additional cost. At no point, did Moeen Niazi or Axcel Gomez discuss the pros and cons of using different sealing materials on the unfinished woods. I only learned later that a salesperson should discuss different options in terms of look and durability, etc. We made it very clear to Moeen Niazi and Axcel Gomez that we needed to be in the house by Saturday, September 14. At no point, did Moeen Niazi or Axcel Gomez tell us that the work could not be completed in a timely or workmanlike fashion. Throughout the week of September 9, I visited the property every morning. The installation crew did not arrive before 11 a.m. On Wednesday, September 11, when I arrived at approximately 8:50 a.m., a crew member was there removing the sander for another job. As of Friday afternoon, the installation crew was still measuring and installing toe molding, and no polyurethane had been applied to the floor. Axcel Gomez subsequently stated that, it takes at least 24 hours between coats of polyurethane and, therefore, at this point there was no way they could be finished by Friday as promised. Axcel Gomez never informed us that they could not complete the job and/or that they needed more time. When I inspected the allegedly finished floors, I immediately noticed a milky/cloudy appearance in one of the rooms. In addition, Axcel Gomez failed to replace the covers on all of the HVAC covers. When I attempted to replace them myself, I discovered that all of the toe molding had been mis-measured and the HVAC did not fit. On Monday, September 16, I informed Moeen Niazi about my concerns, and he told me that he would have the in-house inspector at Carpet & Flooring Liquidators, Mickey Ledford, come out to take a look at the floors. On Friday, September 20, Moeen Niazi and Mickey Ledford came out to the property. Mickey Ledford barely said five words while he was there, and failed to answer my questions about what the installation process should have been and how long it should take. When I asked if the work could have been completed based on when the workers were present, he basically shrugged his shoulders. Moeen Niazi acknowledged that there were some rough patches, but told me that the milky/cloudiness was the result the light hitting the floor. Moeen Niazi offered to have Axcel Gomez come back to buff the floors. I paid $650 to have a certified NWFA inspector come out to inspect the floors. The independent inspection report confirmed the milky/cloudy appearance of the floors caused by solvent trap due to Axcel Gomez applying finish over stain, sealer, or finish before the previous coat had dried. As the floors have continued to cure the appearance has continued to degrade. White lines and cracks are appearing between and on the floor boards, and the finish is cracked/wearing off around where the nails were driven in order to secure the boards. I have also identified other debris in the finish, including dust and what appears to be a nail. Based on the condition of the floors, it is apparent that Axcel Gomez failed to follow industry practice: (1) they did not let the stain or sealer dry before applying the first coat of finish resulting in a cloudy appearance; (2) they did not sand and clean the floors between coats of finish which would have removed the debris and allowed the finish to adhere; and (3) they did not apply a second, and even perhaps a single coat of polyurethane finish, throughout the house."

Carpet stretching services FAQs

Having your carpet cleaned professionally has several benefits for your carpet and your family. First, professionally cleaning your carpets can help thwart dust mite infestations and rid them of dirt, pet dander, particle pollution, and even lead. This can, in turn, help your allergies. Regular professional cleaning can also help prevent mold and mildew growth and even help extend the life of your carpet.

There are six main types of carpet cleaning. Each type is unique in its process of cleaning your floors. Your pro can help suggest the best method based on your carpet material and level of cleaning needed.

  • Steam cleaning uses hot water to clean deep into your carpet. Pressure is applied to the hot water to create steam, moving the chemicals to your carpet fibers.

  • Shampooing leaves foam on the carpet fibers to break up the dirt and stains before removal.

  • Dry cleaning only tackles the dirt on the surface level that hasn’t set in yet.

  • Carbonated cleaning uses bubbles to move debris to the surface of the carpet for removal.

  • Hot water extraction cleaning combines steam cleaning with ammonia or an acid solution to help liquefy debris.

  • Bonnet carpet cleaning uses a cleaning detergent and a specialized cleaning device that cleans the carpet's surface.

The cost for professional carpet cleaning is $180 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying as low as $80 or as high as $375 or more, depending on how much carpeting you have in your home and the type of cleaning you’ll have done, plus any add-ons like furniture and upholstery cleaning. For example, bonnet carpet cleaning averages around $150 since it’s more surface-level. However, due to its complexity, hot water extraction cleaning averages closer to $400.

There are many different types of carpets for you to choose from. When choosing a carpet, it’s essential to consider the following:

  • Fiber: Describes what your carpet is made of, such as polyester, wool, nylon, or acrylic.

  • Pile type: Explains how your carpet looks. Your carpet fibers can be looped, twisted, cut, or woven.

  • Pile height: Describes the length of your carpet. You can choose a low, medium, or high pile.

  • Density: Refers to how close yarn fibers are to each other.

The cost to install carpet is $1,780 on average for 330 square feet, the size of an average living room. This cost could range from $200 to $5,000, depending on the amount of carpet, material, and type of carpet.

If you need 500 square feet of carpet, it’ll cost $1,500 to $5,500, while 1,000 square feet of carpet costs $3,000 to $11,000. Polyester is one of the more affordable options, ranging from $1 to $3 per square foot. Wool is a more luxurious option, ranging from $4 to $20 per square foot
