Wonderful experience.! I spent much time visiting various Flooring stores in the Charlotte / Matthews / Indian Trail area. Colt is very knowledgeable and not pushy, he even allowed me to take home multiple display boards. Seeing them in my house helped us to determine which flooring we would purchase. Hands down, they had the best price on this particular laminate. If i didn’t already have an installer lined up, I definitely would have used them as well to install, installation prices are very reasonable as well. I encourage anyone reading this to pay this family business a visit, you’ll be glad you did.

We are very pleased with the overall experience with Flooring Clearance Center. My husband and I initially visited the store and Colt was extremely helpful in picking out the perfect flooring for us. Not even a week after our visit to the store, the job was done and it looks great! Would recommend to anyone.

First, I must say I was impressed by how many flooring options they offer.. I was expecting just carpet. I was met immediately by Colt, one of the owners. I explained what I was looking for and was expecting to be shown some carpet remnant laying in back. Colt worked with me every step from color to size to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. I ended up with a professionally finished, gorgeous rug and done very fast. It was a great experience from start to finish. Plus the price was great! Customer service is very important to me. It was so nice to be treated so well and with such a small order. Many places wouldn't give me the time of day for what I needed. I will definitely go back there for any other flooring needs big or small especially now that I know how much selection they have and all the services they offer. I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to spread the word about this great locally owned business.

Colt came to the house to take measurements and was not only very professional, but extremely friendly as well. I really appreciated that he took the time to bring me into the conversation and not just my husband. He took measurements and showed me some samples and stated he would get back to us with a quote. The quote was more than reasonable and we hired him for the job. Colt himself took care of the removing the linoleum and laying the tile. I was so pleasantly surprised at his attention to detail and the tile floor turned out beautiful. He was very knowledgeable on which pattern to use. I gave him full artistic control and he delivered. He had two gentlemen come to lay the carpet we choose and they were both very friendly and professional. They did a great job moving the furniture out of the way and also making sure the nail strips used to hold the carpet did not pop through by paying attention to pounding them down. The carpet was laid very professionally without a lot of different seams and the areas where there are seams you cannot tell. Another group came to repair the hardwood floors. They too were very professional and took the time to explain to me what the process was. After it was complete, you could not tell where the new hardwoods began and the old ended. In all cases, at the end of the job, all three different groups cleaned up after themselves and besides a little dust the house looks great. I felt very comfortable and safe with all the people who were in my home. I would hire Colt and his crew again in a heartbeat.

FCC had so many options it was almost intimidating BUT the owner did an amazing job helping us choose! He is trained on all the different types of floors and where they work best and how to clean them, etc. Colt came to our home, with the samples we loved in the shop, and measured our home. Then sent an amazing install team. It was a smooth and fun process! We even got to meet his sweet family one of our visits to the store. Matthews needs more family businesses like this!
