Description of Work: The company replaced the solenoid on my April Aire Humidifier. It is a small part and the total charge was $311 to install this part. I could get a completely new humidifier for approximately $200 more which would have included this part and the humidistat and other parts and taken much longer than the 10 or so minutes it took to replace this part which sells on the Internet for $80.00. When I complained to the company about the price they did refund me $35 which they said would have been my price $276 if I had a maintenance contract with the company. Had the cost not been so high I would have given them an A if the price had been what I consider fairer.

Description of Work: Two installers from Design Aire removed our old and poor-performing A/C unit and installed a new Trane system including new A-coil in the furnace. The installation began on time and the installers worked through a rain shower to complete the job, including clean up, in 3.5 hours. The new unit was properly sized 0.5 ton below the old unit capacity and Mr. Jim Goldkamp of Design Aire checked on and notified us of an available rebate from the power company. The new unit is performing well and quietly.
