My furnace was 23 years old. So I knew it had to be replaced soon. Since it was late they loaned use 3 space heaters. I can’t tell you how thankful I was. They weren’t our cheapest option but their unique cost-plus process of contracting, clear & transparent labor rates and discounts saved us thousands on our projects. We have never seen a company operate in this manner, but it just made complete sense to us, and it works extremely well. Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. All team members and subcontractors were respectful of us and our home and a pleasure to work with as well. They were on-time and wore booties over their shoes which I very much appreciated. They replaced two ceiling lamps, replaced 10 outlets and a dimmer switch among other tasks that neither my husband and I could tackle on our own. They even informed me that our smoke detectors are too old and should be replaced - something I hadn't even thought about. Whenever I called the office, Katie has been extremely helpful and accommodating to our project needs. We will definitely hire Metro Electric again."
