"The boiler at the Lansing Woman's Club died on December 7, 2021. Mike from Miles Plumbing and Heating was the only one of 4 contractors to actually take pictures of our old boiler and send them to his supply person on-the-spot. Within 24 hours he had a new unit located. The price was competitive. Within 10 days the new unit had arrived from New York and Mike and his team set about removing the old boiler, taking care to protect all the flooring material at the clubhouse. The entire crew was punctual, professional, and extremely courteous in answering questions about boilers in general and this installation specifically. Despite all of this happening over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, Miles had the new system up and running on January 5, 2022. On the other hand, a larger hot tub meant for up to six people can weigh around 1,000 pounds when empty. Materials used also impact weight. Less expensive hot tubs are typically lighter because they are made of molded plastic or fiberglass.

Many people find saltwater tubs worth the upfront expense. They cost less to maintain than traditional hot tubs, so you can save in the long term. Maintenance is also easier, typically involving balancing the pH and cleaning the tub rather than adding chemicals. They’re also gentler on sensitive skin, and you won’t walk away with a strong chlorine odor.

You can and should use a hose to fill a hot tub. There shouldn’t be anything special about the hose other than it shouldn’t be damaged. Kinks or leaks could slow down the filling process. Attach the hose to the nearest spigot and get the water flowing.
