Phoenix Mechanical

Received written estimate in less than a week after in-home visit. At the agreed on start date, workers showed up exactly when promised. All three were professional, personable and efficient. They treated my home as if it were their own. As soon as an area was finished they vacuumed and left it as they found it. They never left screws, wires, plastic, etc lying around. The same care was taken on the outside of the house. They made sure that everything they installed was neat, straight and fastened down properly. They even took the time to recaulk a window that I didn't realize had a problem. This had absolutely nothing to do with their work; they just did it to be nice and they knew that I couldn't do it myself. When the job was complete, I was given instructions on how everything worked, had an opportunity to ask questions, and told that if I had any problems one of them would either talk me through the solution or come here to help me. I could not be happier and Phoenix is now my go-to company for all plumbing and HVAC needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

Phoenix came in a couple days from call. He took everything apart and cleaned which no one else had ever done! He was very knowledgeable about his craft. We were very happy with the quality of the cleaning job and the price!

We had been considering a heating /ac unit for our sunroom. After some extensive research we decided the Mitsubishi unit was our best choice but had this project on hold for awhile. Phoenix Mechanical ressurected the idea to us while they were cleaning our ac unit. We then contacted three vendors of this product. One company did not appear interested in our project. They cancelled our initial appointment. The other vendor suggested a much larger and more costly unit. Phoenix Mechanical addressed my questions concerning the appropriate size unit, terms and product warranty. We were provide a written estimate.as requested. They were very accomodating regarding the installation date which was sooner than we anticipated. They were prompt and installed and tested the unit within the time frame they had stated. Both gentlemen were extremely courteous and skilled. They called us a week or so later to be sure we were satisfied. We are. The unit has functioned beyond our expectations during a very hot summer. All of the selling points that Phoenix Mechanical presented to us about the system are true. It is very quiet and energy efficient. We are very pleased with the service of this company.

The two services were performed by two different Phoenix employees (Doug and Mike), and both went very well. The initial service took place the day after I closed on my house, and Doug answered all my questions about the things that had been found in my inspection and that needed to be addressed. He gave me an estimate before he started, and even though he ended up doing a couple of extra things, the total bill came in within the estimate range. He also took a closer look at a few things that he came across as he was doing the work, and ended up advising me to contact my utility company about the wiring outside my house. When I did so later on and was told by the utility company that the problem was my responsibility, I contacted him to run the situation by him, and he told me the exact language I needed to use to explain to them what the problem was (it worked - the utility company came out and took care of it). I called Phoenix again in February, after a representative from the gas company shut off the gas to my furnace due to a suspected leak. Even though it was already in the afternoon, Phoenix was able to get someone out to my house that day so that I didn't have to worry about frozen pipes, etc. Like Doug, Mike was also very friendly and helpful, and answered all of my questions about what was going on. He was able to determine that my furnace could be turned back on for the night, and had a replacement valve for it the next day. He also worked with my home warranty company (even though it was a company that Phoenix did not have a regular account with), so that my out-of-pocket expense was limited to my copay (the $425 above was the total bill for this service).
