We had originally planned a retaining wall but when Kevin found that wasn’t structurally feasible he quickly pivoted to the boulders and plantings that are prettier even than the original plan. "An employee came out to look and give an estimate as did several people from other companies. The Elgin person gave the clearest explanation of what was needed and my options. The company was not comfortable installing the water softener unless a plumber put in the piping infrastructure (my water main is old) so I had to hire a plumbing company for that work, however."
