They wired up a new bathroom vent fan, disconnected and capped an unused gas line in kitchen, removed old non-functioning cooktop and removed some old non-functioning plumbing from under kitchen island. They were easy to communicate with, very reasonable pricing and did quality work. I will definitely call them again. And don't forget to tip your Handyman for a job well done!"

"I hired Henry Pedaza of J.M.P. to build a fireplace surround and mantel. This was a relatively straightforward project. Because I had the oak wood, I provided the majority of the wood, he only had to provide the mantel shelf...which was cut too shallow, so there is a 1/2 gap where the shelf meets the wall. He literally cut and nailed up 7 pieces of trim board, filled the seams with putty and was done. I showed him my concerns, and we agreed he would come back the next day to tweak his work to my satisfaction and complete another small task, the baseboard. He did not sweep, nor pick up the scrap wood or anything. I paid him (like a fool --$950.00!!!) and of course, you guessed it, he did not show up the next day or next or next. I called, texted left messages and no reply. I was wrong to pay him before being satisfied,(my bad) but I trusted him. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!! HE DEFINITELY SCAMMED ME!!!"

"Ray came out and did a thorough look over of our porch and only fixed what was needed. I really appreciated this since other people wanted to replace the whole porch and be instead focused on what was needed. He also did the work himself along with a partner so good to know the person you hire does the work. We had some back and forth challenges in getting a hold of one another that took a longer to start the work than we wanted but once we connected Ray did a great job. We were unhappy with one board so he replaced it when we asked with no complaints. Ray is a nice guy who is honest and does quality work."

After two weeks I called again, and they said someone would call. And they never did.
