Nate was awesome to work with. We changed many of things with a large deck project that included a custom pergola with lighting and he was very helpful in letting us make design choices while providing insight into what would work and what would look great as well. His team was professional and highly skilled, especially his foreman, Buckleman! This is the second time our family has used the Deck Company and would recommend them to anyone!

How often can you write a review and say you are 100% happy and would not change a single thing? This is that review for Nate Hudon and Deck Company. Pictures are attached of our new Trex Spiced Rum deck with composite posts, signature railings, wedge and riser LED lighting. Nate impressed us from our first meeting. He is honest, knowledgeable and experienced. His communication was excellent. He listened to us and designed the deck we envisioned, down to the details of lighting placement and support post locations. Shawn and his construction crew were hard-working, talented, courteous, and friendly. Despite adverse weather conditions, they arrived everyday at 7am, worked all day and completed the project on time. The first day, alone, they completed the demo of the old deck, dug holes for the new support posts, had the village out to inspect, and poured concrete for the new supports! Amazing work ethic. We showed Shawn a picture of a support post design we liked and he made it happen! They repaired our brick patios around the new support posts and relocated a huge limestone stepping stone. The crew put down plywood to protect our lawn and boards to protect the driveway from the dumpster. The dumpster arrived the day they started and was removed the day they finished! The clean-up left our property spotless. They even power-washed the driveway. The village inspector had nothing but praise for Nate, Shawn, and Deck Company. Nate promised we would be happy and he was true to his word. Great people! Great company!

A great job, beginning to end! The crew came at the agreed time, and completed the replacement of deck planks and top rail with composite that exactly matched the existing stained wood with no problems. The owner returned to make additional repairs to the deck that were outside the scope of the original work. The finished deck now looks like new. Everyone was great to work with, and answered all of my questions and concerns.

If I could give Nate, Shawn, Keith, and the rest of the Deck Company team 10 stars, I would! I highly recommend them! Our project was particularly complex because it was a very large 34”x 34 1/2” Trex deck completely surrounding a semi inground oval pool with extended pool stairs. There were many challenges along the way because of the pool, including strict safety requirements for the railing height and gates, as well as a ring of concrete around the base of the pool that had to be jackhammered through for a couple of the post holes! Nate was so positive the entire time. Every time an obstacle came up, while I was panicking, he would just smile and say “I’ve got this!”. In the end the deck was finished ahead of schedule and passed all village inspections (including the pool safety requirements) on the first try. The end result exceeded our expectations, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is amazing. Things like the trimming out of the lattice, the angle cuts on the deck railing, and the perfect coping of the decking around the pool and pool stairs really make it look fantastic. The whole team was courteous, and professional the entire time. Nate and Shawn were always happy to answer my questions (and I had a lot of them). They left our yard better than they found it, power washing our sidewalk and driveway to clear away mud that was mostly left from the pool install. We definitely choose the right company for the job!

Deck looks fantastic! Crew started right on time, worked fast (in cold weather!) and cleaned up everything after. Everyone was helpful, very safety conscious, and accommodated my schedule. Just a great experience.

It was amazing to see the transformation from aging wood decks to beautiful Trex decks with their wonderful warranty. Materials, installation, and workmanship were superior. I couldn’t be happier with the work Nate and his crew did. From the design process to the final install, I was kept in the loop every step of the way. Not only did they start earlier than expected, I also couldn’t have imagined it would have looked as good as it does! The crew came promptly at 7am and I don’t think I ever seen them take a break. It was a 2-day job but after the first day, you couldn’t even tell anyone was there. All the material and tools were neatly put away and everything was cleaned up even though they were coming back the next morning. The job was finished on time and more importantly, on budget, with no surprises! I even got quotes from 3 other contractors and the Deck Company was not only the cheapest but the highest rated. After the job was complete, Nate walked me through everything that was done and had the crew waiting to ensure I liked every little detail. Had Deck Company build me a Trex Deck. Their crew was very good at what the do and very professional and hard at work. We love the deck and would recommend them to everyone for one of the worlds finest deck building company.The County Inspector said it best "this is one of the best built decks I have ever seen"

From start to finish, Keith and Nate were very responsive to phone calls, texts, and emails. Keith made the design process easy and relatively painless. The project started and finished on time and on budget. Before beginning the tear-down, Nate verified the scope of the project, as well as color choices of the decking material. He explained the construction process and answered all of our concerns. Nate's team was hard-working, polite, and efficient. The entire project took roughly three days in blistering heat and hot sun. We couldn't be happier with how beautiful the deck turned out.

We contacted Deck Company to quote replacing a wood deck that was over 25 years old. They responded promptly and showed up as promised to bid. We chose Deck Company to do the work largely based upon their Angie’s list rating. We were also sold on the use of Trex composite decking and railing versus wood. Nate and his crew started the job a little earlier than anticipated and worked tirelessly in some pretty harsh late fall conditions. They were on time, extremely organized, and respectful. The work concluded a bit sooner than promised and the result exceeded our already high expectations. We couldn’t be more satisfied.

It's been scheduled, he's been busy and we're in no rush. I wouldn't use them again because in my lifetime, I'm never going to have to replace the deck. That's unfair though I suppose. Yeah, I'm never gonna use them again, but you know, if I had to I would. And again, that's not even fair, because he hasn't put the deck in yet. Maybe it'll be a lousy job. I went with them for the same reason I gave them A's. I can't judge his work because they haven't done it yet, but I have seen his work. It was fine, totally what you would expect someone that's a professional to do.

It went perfectly. Communication during the process was perfect. They started project on time and finished a day early. All inspections pass on time and it looks great. Very nice people to work with.

They were a great set of folks that came out. That deck has gave us the most fun for our money so far. I have actually recommended them to an friend, I like them so much. They also got a deck installed by them.
