"They knocked down the hornets nest, however they do have a predatory contract. I only needed them for one thing. The contract has 4 check marks at which it appears that it is when you will be charged but the way you will be charged is monthly and not quarterly. Who needs a monthly pest subscription at $50 for 12 months? To break the contract is $200 so be aware and read the contract carefully. Hopefully theyll get a class action due to these practices. "Skyline came out and they were the only pest company who took photographs to document the areas where rats were getting into the attic. While the initial repairs to a door outside the crawlspace was bumpy (door replaced with non-treated lumber), the work was re-done without a question and Skyline has been responsive ever since. They instructed us about keeping birdseed off of the front porch and even keeping the bird feeder in front empty so that there was no free source of food. Work to the crawlspace involved having to re-do the heating unit since rats had chewed their way in. Skyline set out traps both in the attic and crawlspace with bait, and after a few rats were caught there were none. They were also very thorough in their inspection of any damage to the attic the rats may have done and found nothing significant."

"My experience with Pest Ban and their family of companies has been one of the worst vendor experiences i've ever had. In November of 2023 we hired PestBan to get rid of roof rats that had infested our house from overhanding trees. Throughout the course of the service, which cost several thousand dollars, i encountered: 1. Perhaps the biggest issue is that we still have rats! Four months later and the rats have effectively beaten and outsmarted the company whose sole job is to get rid of them! 2.Overpromise and under delivery -- the technician providing the quote assured me that they would not stop until the job was done and the rats were gone. They would work top to bottom and inside / out to get the job done. Boy did this not happen! 3. Maybe the worst communication i've ever seen -- following each appointment i asked for a follow up appointment and tried to set dates to get exclusions and cleaning / deodorization done. This never happened! Not once! Every time i had to call them myself to schedule the next service or i would never hear back. Each time i complained and the issue never got fixed. 4. Not our job -- I was told multiple after pointing out new entry / exit points for the rats that Pest Ban doesn't handle that and that i'd have to find a different vendor. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the technician didn't promise comprehensive service. 5. Low quality work -- You would think that Pest Ban would be good at their only job -- finding and closing off the rat entry points. But boy was that not the case. After each visit i went around and found places that they missed and had to call them back out and point out the gap. Even their own technicians made repeated comments such as, "i'm not sure how they missed that. It's really obvious". This went on for at least 4 visits in a row. So, in summary, find a better vendor! Pest Ban will charge you a lot and leave you with a lighter wallet, a list of complaints, and a house full of rodents."
