GREAT.
Description of Work: I have used this company for approximately ten (10) years to service the AC units at my office. They are the BEST! They respond promptly, always fix the problem the first time out, and bill fairly. All AC companies should be this good.

Description of Work: the problem was that I called out the company 5 times after the install which they came out and kept trying to fix the condensation dripping in the closet of the air handler....... the younger seemingly inexperienced men kept trying different things insulation, caulking and wanted me to buy a sump pump..... I finally asked my cousin in NC , so he said that the unit was probably not level, so that was the problem, it was an inch off level tilted to the back. So the company finally fixed the problem on the fifth visit.

Response from Father Sons Air Conditioning
We installed this unit on 10/09/2009 a list of the return service calls are listed. Coincidently we had to run a new drain line with the install because drainage problems were a factor from the beginning. According to our records on 07/02/2010 inv. # 005001 we were called out due to a strange noise that the member thought was coming from the new unit. We went out and nothing was wrong. No charge. On 07/20/2010 inv. # 005220 we had a service call about a tripped breaker. We went out and found the sub panel wired up by their electrician was not wired up correctly and needed a larger wire. Her electrician had wired both of her systems off of one breaker . We explained to her that her electrician was needed to rewire the systems in her house. No charge. 08/26/2010 inv.#005599 We were called out on a water leak problem in which case we found the unit dripping wter on the tile floor of the closet, the technician noted that we may need to raise the unit a few inches to get the unit to drain better. We also found a bad compressor and changed it out under the factory parts warranty. The compressor was still running but the tech noticed that it didn't sound right so we opted to change the compressor out before the warranty ran out. It may have continued to run for yrs but as a favor to the member we changed it. We did not charge her for any labor or freon even though it was out of the labor warranty. No charge. 01/12/2011 we returned on a water leak and raised the back of the air handler on the stand because the flooring was sloped to the back of the closet. That inv. # is 006414 and we did not charge her. I'm not disputing that we had a drain problem, but we were not out 5 times for a drain problem only the last two calls and the other two were not our fault.

Overall the job went as expected.
Description of Work: Replace non-working AC unit and add bath vent in condo. The replacement and vent work were completed as scheduled. They had to come back to redo the vent as it was not moving much air. The drain line required 4 visits to rewrap so it would not condensate and drip water thru the ceiling. I had to call them back twice during this time as they were "no show" as promised. I finally gave up calling them back, went to Lowes, spent $27 for material and fixed it myself.

In our defense we were the only company that would work on this building due to the age and the total deterioration of the water cooling system and the building. The owner did not live on the premises yet and our schedules did not line up all the time. We had no issues with the owner and he was very easy to work with. This building has a huge problem with condensation due to the age and style of air conditioning equipment. All of the water cooling lines and plumbing are condensing and due to old insulation and piping. We have stopped working there due to liability reasons with the condensation problems, but we were eventually able to fix the customer's condensation problem.

Excellent service. Although I couldn't get an appointment as quickly as I would have liked, the service person called me ahead of his arrival as requested, and arrived within the projected time frame. He started working and got the system running promptly. He also patched an air duct hole upon my request. I did not ask for an estimate ahead of time and it didn't take long to service the system, but the price seemed fair.
Description of Work: Serviced heating and air conditioning system that was not working. Identified and labeled an off/on switch for the system that needed to be "on." Reset the oil furnace to get it working, and checked the oil level. Also patched a hole in an air duct that I knew about prior to this service call.

I had used this company for several years to help maintain my old system and was pleased with their service, so I was happy to give them the business when it was time for a new system. They may not have been the cheapest, but when you find a company that responds well to its customers, you support them!
Description of Work: The company removed all the old venting in my 50-year-old house and installed new venting along with a new, energy-efficient HVAC system that was appropriate for my home.
