I needed to add an extension on my existing fencing from the backyard to the front of the house along a side of the house to enclose a walkway to the backyard. I wanted chainlink fence to match the backyard fence. Witt fence company sent someone promptly for an estimate (which I believe was a very fair price) and I agreed to have the work done. They came down three days later and were finished in a few hours. The fence looks great, and it is just what I wanted.

They gave a good price to do the work and were considerate of doing the most efficient option. It is a sturdy installation and they did what they said they would do. I am pleased with the results.

From the minute they came to do the estimate, until they pulled away from the house, they were nothing but professional and courteous. Knowing that my husband is in Afghanistan, Mr. Witt promised they would take good care of me and they did! Our fence looks incredible ! The fence came down, and our yard had gorgeous fencing up within hours. They even washed the backside of our neighbors fence that shows in our yard! I would highly recommend this company and if I ever need anything else done, they will be the only ones I call!

Great Company. We were expecting 2-3 people to show up to do the work. Eight guys were here. They were professional, courtesy, well trained and worked as a team. And they were fast. They tore down the old and put up the new fence in a couple of hours. And it is beautiful. They did a minimal amount of trimming of branches, etc., just enough to get the job done. We really appreciated this kindness to our shrubs/bushes/trees. A week later, we called and asked if we could get two handles for the inside of the gates, to make it easier for us to open from the inside. We called on a Thursday. They were installed the next Monday. Now, that's customer service. We highly recommend Witt Fence Co.

They went right to work when they got to my home. They worked very well together. They were very prompt and pleasant. They even did a few little other jobs for me while they were at my home. I definitely recommend them.

I called Witt Fence on a Sunday evening and left a message. I received a call back on Monday morning and scheduled the estimate for Wednesday. Mr. Witt came out to give us the estimate. He was helpful and informative. He was booking jobs approximately 2 weeks out. The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day and was very professional. They completed the job in one day. We had concerns about the placement of the gates and a section of the fence. Mr. Witt made an extra visit to our home to answer our questions and showed up the day of the installation to make sure the crew was clear on what we wanted. Witt Fence did a wonderful job. Our fence is beautiful and we love it.

Theirs was the most attractive bid. Replaced fence as ordered by HOA. They went the extra mile building fence to the HOA's non-standard specs!

The installation crew arrived at the scheduled day/time and worked steadily on the project. It took an extra 1/2 day to complete then planned, but when they finished they left nothing behind, and even disposed of my old gate for me. The gate operator has been working flawlessly for a month now. The overall quality of the hardware is very good, but I lowered the quality rating just shy of Excellent because of the on-site welding, which reflected only an average skill level. Still, the build is strong and I don't expect to have any mechanical issues stemming from the welds. About 3 weeks after the install I noticed a small chip (~1") had broken off the powder coated finish. Upon closer inspection I also noted an area about 2-3" surrounding the chipped area had lifted from the metal. This had occurred at the very top of one of the end posts, in an area that is not exposed to rubbing or other abrasion, so it was evident that something went wrong during the original coating process.We contacted Witt by email, explaining the situation and included a photo of the problem area. I heard back from them immediately. Without hesitation, they offered to pick up the gate, refinish it, and reinstall it. Even more remarkable - they came out to pick up the gate that same day! Two days later our refinished gate is back - looking like it should. Exemplary customer service by any measure! If customer service is important to you, hire these guys.

Ed came out and gave an honest price and thoroughly described the work to be done. Randy followed up with scheduling and some adjustments. Rich and his crew came out and did a quality job. Ed even stopped by to check on their progress. Lets just say it doesn't get any better when a company does what they say they are going to do and it results in a quality finished product.

I first spoke with Randi, the office manager, who arranged a timely meeting for an estimate with Ed Witt, the owner. Both were extremely polite and professional. Ed was punctual for our meeting and a very nice guy all around. He gave an extremely fair estimate. He did not give a high pressure sales pitch. One thing I found very impressive was that he commended the competitor I mentioned rather than speak poorly of him, who, by the way, was both $430 more expensive, and a minimum of 45-60 day wait for installation. I found that showed a level of personal and business integrity that I look for in my transactions. I read every review on Angie's list, which are all excellent, and I drove to several sites where they installed a fence. At one residence, I spoke with the owner who raved about Witt Fencing for the same reasons I am detailing. As promised, the crew arrived on the date and time given. They (3 workers) took down my fence and installed a perfectly straight, board on board fence. The back length was also scalloped and had gothic posts. All around it looks gorgeous and professionally done. They left the yard free of debris and were done the same day. As I have a retention wall and 3 foot drop to my rear neighbor, they even went to the next block to see the installation from their vantage point, and spoke with him and got his approval as well. They made sure I was completely satisfied with the work before they left. I love my fence and I feel really great having found an ethical small business owner who also delivers a high quality product. It is refreshing.

They were fantastic. Their estimate was more thorough than anyone else. They were among the cheapest, if not the cheapest. The work was fantastic.

I called to get an estimate and they were very quick to schedule an apt to come out and provide an estimate (with an Angie's list discount). They added no pressure to make a decision at the time of estimate and I especially appreciated they did not try to sell me anything over and beyond what I was asking for. I had gotten 2 other quotes and they were not only the most reasonably priced for what I wanted, they seemed the most down to earth and good people to have working for you. We explained our need for a simple 6ft wood fence, nothing fancy, that would provide both security and privacy. However, I did need to have the installation before a certain date (which was less than 2 weeks away) and they made sure they could meet my needs and do it in a timely fashion. We scheduled a date for installation and I had asked if they could arrive earlier than scheduled in the morning and in order to do just that, they packed up all supplies the night before in order to arrive even earlier than I had asked (which was awesome)! They arrived and immediately got started to work. I was very impressed with not only their responsiveness, kind, courteous, and professional they were, but it seems working to please the customer is their first priority and obligation. In addition, they did not ask for any form of payment up front, and encouraged us not to pay until they were completely finished and we were completely satisfied! They exceeded my expectations and provided my family exactly what I asked for and made our backyard look wonderful and gave us the security and privacy we wanted and needed. We called several companies to get estimates to fence the rear of our yard as well as install gates on the side of our house to connect to existing neighboring fences. The owner of Witt Fence, Mr. Ed Witt, came out approximately 2 weeks after we called to set up an appointment (it was right during Christmas holidays). We appreciated very much that the owner of the company was the one who was providing our estimate. We also like that the people who would be doing the actual installation are employees of the company and not sub-contractors - this is very important to us. Mr. Witt walked the yard with my husband and listened to our needs, and was very thorough and courteous in providing us an estimate for our fence. Witt fence was the second company we had come out to provide an estimate, and both companies were literally a few dollars apart so we knew that we would be getting a great value with either company. Mr. Witt even complimented his competition in stating that we could stop with estimates because both companies we had estimates from were the best in town!

I would like to thank Witt Fence and its employees for a job well done. It was a small job but they managed to fit me into their busy schedule last minute and gave me an excellent price. From meeting Randy the scheduler, to finalizing the details with the owner Ed, and the install team, I could not have had a better experience. All were professional and proficient throughout the entire process and it shows in their work.

Ed gave us an estimate in December 2009 but other expenses came up and we had to postpone the fence. He returned in August 2011 and we really appreciated that he still honored the same quote for us. We selected Witt Fence because of their reputation and we liked their method of core drilling through the concrete patio to set the fence posts. We had an estimate from another company that just wanted to connect the posts to the concrete with metal brackets! The installers, T.J., Rich and Ray, worked together very well. They arrived on-time, immediately went to work and didn't stop until the job was finished. They built a great fence. It looks terrific and is solid. The gate is sturdy; swings and latches perfectly. We still can't believe what a difference the fence makes. The back yard looks so much nicer, there is complete privacy and no worries about the dog wandering into a neighbor's yard.

Ed Witt arrived early to our appointment to give me an estimate. He was very professional in listening to my requests and rechecked with me to insure he understand precisely what I wanted done. His estimate was $225.00 cheaper than either of the other two estimates I had gotten for the same work. Ed's men showed up early to start the repair work on the appointed date. They finished the project within three hours and cleaned up after themselves, always exhibiting a very friendly, cordial attitude.
