Had to come back twice I believe and it looks horrible. Had work done by them before several years ago and they were very good but they are not the same. These guys didn't have a clue about what they were supposed to do or how to do it.

Looks absolutely awful. Not professional at all. The funny thing about this is that they installed several feet of fence and gates for us a few years back. Did a great job. Reason we contacted them. Called them for this small project. Reinstall double gates that were sagging. The outcome with that was a space wider than a picket on both sides and nothing installed so there was a huge gap on both sides. Big enough for a cat to go thru. The other part of the project was to replace one of the two single gates on the far side, the first one was the correct one. After checking on what they were doing a little later, I found they had removed the second gate that was at the far end of the fence, almost to the back and had begun to rebuild it. Had to stop that so it was put back together and work began on the first one. The handle was supposed to be the same on the new gate as the old so the single gate could be opened both ways. When it was finished the hardware was totally incorrect and the gate could only be opened from the inside which required us to enter and walk thru the house every time and open the gate from the inside only. They sent a guy out to fix that and instead of installing actual hardware meant for it, he drilled a hold in the wood jam for the bar to slide into. After a couple of days,the gate was dragging a little and the bar didn't hit the hole so it wouldn't latch. All they really had to do was use the old hardware on the rebuilt gates. They look horrible. We have tried about everything we can find to make it look better but it just gets worse. Will not call them back again. Don't think they have anyone able to work with the hardware. $550 cost

Witt Fence installed my fence on our one acre area 3 years ago and did a fantastic job. Have not has an issue with our fence since installation. We went back to Witt Fence when we wanted to add gates to finish off our area, we needed four of them, they came through with an economical, custom solution for our needs. the new opener was installed and it works well. the employees are very knowledgeable and do good work . yes I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical gate work to be performed .

Witt Fence had previously replaced a gate and I reached out to them to see if I could get a quote for fence replacement. I was unable to get a hold of them. I tried numerous times via phone, and also through their website. Unfortunately, I can't see myself attempting to use them again.

They did an excellent job. The fence is beautiful and very solid. This was a very large fence which they were able to install in two days. This company is very professional with a long and solid reputation in our area.

They came out very quickly but sent the fence guy and I needed the gate guy. Anyway, we got it straightened out and they fixed the fence. The only problem was that there was a breakdown in communication and one of the issues I needed fixed was not addressed upon completion of the work. When I got home that day I called the company to talk to them about the work not being completed to my satisfaction and they were very responsive! They came back out quickly and solved the problem. Stan was awesome and is so knowledgable about gates. He fixed it better than ever. He reset the timing perfectly! Wayne in the office was always so nice and made sure that it would be fixed to my satisfaction.... so refreshing to have great customer service :-)

This review is post Hurricane IRMA. Witt Fence put in our fence in 2012. Other than natural weathering, it still looks great and is rock solid. On September 10th/11th, 2017 Hurricane IRMA came through our area. Our winds got into the 85mph range. My neighbors fences all need repair. My fence looks like nothing ever happened. Sometimes the review right after the job is completed in not as important as one that clearly describes the duration of quality. Thank you all at Witt Fence. You run a great company.

perfectly - would hire again in a heartbeat

They had originally put our fence up 10 years ago. We had gotten them off of Angie's List years ago when we originally used them. When it was time for the repairs last month, I just called them back out. They didn't charge us for adjusting the gates, because they originally put them in. There was just a charge for replacing the one panel that needed replaced. He also replaced the pieces of metal fences that extended out over the seawall. They were in and out in a couple of hours. Maybe three people came out. They did a very good job. I just talked to the foreman on the job, and he had a shirt on that had a Witt symbol on it. It's Florida, and it's hot, I don't expect these guys to wear uniforms out in this heat. I think they just had a t shirt on with the Witt emblem on it. I would give them "A"s all around.

Excellent. On Time. Very friendly crew. Fence looks great and was erected in no time. Will definitely call them again when ready to replace privacy fence later on.

The work crew showed up on time and completed the job in a quick and efficient manner. We are very happy with the results.

From the initial contact with the salesperson, to the office manager and the crew it was a very pleasant experience. The fence design is beautiful and presents an excellent site line; construction was well done and everyone was very professional and interactions were cordial. The pricing was second highest of the 4 people I spoke with and the terms and warranty met my needs. Wait time from when I received Homeowner's Association approval and start time was short and began on time. The crew was impeccable about cleanup. I misunderstood conditions about the fence and thought I had to have two gates installed and realized I did not need both; they removed one. I am very satisfied with the work and would recommend Witt to others.

Witt Fence is in a class of its own - 5-star all the way. They did a total fence build-and-installation. Given my high standards - sadly, many Tampa vendors rarely make the cut - I met several providers for the job. However, from the time of the initial meeting (Randy, who set the initial appt. was courteous to a fault) to completion, Witt set the right expectation in terms of pricing, delivery and installation. And the fence was truly a masterpiece - as Ed Witt, the owner, promised - visually stunning with solidly built. I highly, highly recommend these guys. Thank you Ed and team. They were punctual, timely, efficient and completed the job in one day with 2 crews working on the property. Excellent quality and job performance.Would highly recommend.

From start to finish, they were a pleasure to work with. Warranty is great - any small issues are put on their board and were addressed within days.

The install went smoothly and the overall experience working with them was great. The fence looks good and we're definietely happy with the finished product. Approximately six (6) months after install, six (6) boards warped and broke away from the fence. They provide a 1 year guarantee on their work, so they came out and replaced the boards within a week of us reporting the issue and did a once over of the entire fence and secured a few additional boards.

The were very professional and they installed the fencing and took my old fence which was falling down away for me.

The workers arrived on time and worked diligently until they were finished. Very professional job was done and cleanup was thorough. An old fence had to be torn down first and then a new board on board fence was assembled on site. A new gate was installed for easy access to the back yard. All in all a great job by a trusted company.

it went very well. They did the job while I was traveling and worked with me and communicated on every step. Was Great! I know I had it done before the new year, but dont have the date handy.

Did have an issue with interruption of power in my home after one the workers cut into an in ground line. However TECO admitted that the line was not properly marked by them, so it was not the installers fault. Would not hesitate to use again or to recommend.

They did a great job. After the work was done, some kids were pulling the picket tops off the fence. I called the company to see how I can glue them on and the company said they would send someone out to fix it themselves. I am very impressed with their professionalism and I would highly recommend them.

Job went as planned on the schedule provided. Minimum involvement needed from me and the Witt Fence crew worked hard in the Tampa sun to get my fence completed. We have dogs so keeping the yard closed in at the end of the work day was important as this was a two day job. Witt Fence had no problem with meeting this request. They weren't the cheapest bid we had but theirs was very fair. I'm pleased we went with Witt. I would definitely use them again.

We called Witt fence to come out and install 175 feet of white PVC fence across the back of our property. Scheduled with Randy, and Ed came out 2 days later and met with is to give us a price. We liked the quality and warranty associated with Witt and agreed to go with them. They scheduled me out 3 weeks, but Randy called me 2 days later to say they had a cancellation and they could come out in a couple days. Fence looks great and we are very happy.
