the arborist did the initial assessment. the crew was very punctual.they were very skilled in cutting down the tree that was right next to our house. we wanted a few extra branches taken out of one tree and the crew did that without charging us anymore money.

Though their price was slightly above the average quote I got their quality and professionalism made up the difference. They did the job quickly, careful not to damage anything and did a great clean up of all areas when they were done. Best of all they made verbally sure I was completely satisfied before they were finished. It was obvious that they cared that I was satisfied with the job they did and would go the extra mile to insure that.

Tree Tech did a great job on our tree. They provided the quickest response, lowest estimate and were very informative about our tree, our options and their process. Tree looks great- highly recommended.

The crew arrived exactly on time, worked fast and efficiently for almost 4 hours, did an excellent job exceeding expectations, and cleaned up when finished. The crew was very professional and highly skilled -- they were fun to watch because it was almost like watching a well directed stage performance. Excellent example of knowledge, skill, and team work!

Arborist Ruben Luna came out and estimated the job. He was confident that there would be no problems related to the removal and stump grinding of the redwood, even though a section of the fence would need to be removed for the stump grinding equipment. (This was a question, because both of the other estimating companies told us we would be responsible for the fence removal and replacement.) He offered several suggestions for a smaller scale tree to replace the redwood. Similarly, he was very clear on what needed to be done to prune the hackberry to get the limbs off both my roof and the neighbor's, but recommended we be there to make sure that all the limbs necessary were removed. Brian and the crew showed up promptly and immediately went to work removing the fence section and limbing up the tree. By noon, they had removed the redwood, chipped and cleaned up the debris and were working on the stump grinding. The neighbors were entertained!! They cleaned up the area thoroughly, and replaced the fence and a stone bench. They then proceeded to trim the hackberry, and were very patient as we pointed out additional limbs that we thought needed to be removed. They were careful and very professional. The only concern we had was that their estimate seemed low. However, based on the other Angie's list reviews and their overall rating, we decided they were a good choice. We were so very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

They were on time, walked through what had to be done. Seemed to know what they were doing.

Both people were on time. Polite and finished job with quoted time price was much less than I expected for a big 11 year old tree.

Since we had prior positive experience with them, we called Tree Tech about a problem that we were having with a tree and several other plants in the back yard. They came out the same day, took a look, and told us what we could do to address the problem now. This was very helpful. We plan to have them come back at the beginning of the year to have them do some preventive service ahead of next year's growing season.

On 8/7/2012, I contacted Tree Tech and another local tree service (also receiving good reviews on Angie's List) for estimates on a BIG fruitless Mulberry in my front yard. The tree was hanging over parts of my house, garage and property line. Both companies came out (within their stated time frame) that afternoon, gave similar recommendations as to what could/should be done with the tree and each offered estimates for 3 levels of service: (1) a serious pruning and/or (2) cutting the stump flush with the ground and/or (3) grinding out the stump. Tree Tech gave a MUCH better price at all 3 levels. I gave Tree Tech the green light later that afternoon. Office staff called on 8/8/2012 to schedule the job. On 8/9/2012, I was at work and had my adult daughter at home to handle any issues. Tree Tech showed up a couple minutes early, did the job quickly with no problems, cleaned up and were gone...a very smooth transaction. The tree looks great, they even picked up some previous trimmings I had piled in the yard. When I went to the office on 8/10/2012, staff were very friendly and professional. I am very satisfied with the results and will definitely use Tree Tech in the future and would refer them to others.

Tree Tech was prompt both for the estimate and for the actual services. The techs were extremely personable and professional as well. The work is excellent -- can't even tell they were there--the price was extremely reasonable. I have had this work done before and this was by far my best experience -- both for the actual work performed and for the price

I called Tree Tech Services to provide me with an estimate for cutting down a large mulberry tree and a mature peach tree. Although they said it wasn't necessary for me to be there for the estimate, the peach tree was in my locked back yard and I have a dog so I preferred to be present for the estimate. They gave me a 4-hour window and the aborist arrived within that time frame. He spent a few minutes looking around and provided me with an estimate that was about $400 lower than the others I had received. Because I liked the price and everything else appeared equal, I called the office that Friday afternoon and told them I would like to schedule the work. They said and quot;great, we'll have the arborist call you by 5:00 to set up a time.and quot; The arborist did not call by 5:00. I was going to call them back on Monday but someone from their office did eventually call and say and quot;we just wanted to confirm that the services will be done tomorrow.and quot; So I think there was some miscommunication there since I had no idea they'd be out on Tuesday but, all things considered, that's not a huge deal. A crew of 3 guys arrived first thing Tuesday morning and got right to work. The crew leader, Dan (Daniel?) was friendly, professional, and to my layman's eye he appeared to be highly skilled. They made quick work of the peach tree and I was impressed at their ability to cut down the tree (probably 25 feet in height) without damaging any of the plants I had growing immediately surrounding the tree. When I told Dan that I expected there could be damage to those plants he told me something like and quot;You never know, but we are going to do everything we can to make sure that doesn't happen.and quot; The mulberry tree took a bit longer. They were able to remove the tree down to the stump but they had some equipment problems which slowed their progress and they were not able to remove all the wood from the trunk or grind the stump that day. A rep from the company came to my door and told me what was happening and asked me if it would be okay if they came back in two days to finish the job. I said that was fine. Although I wasn't sure what time they'd be there to finish up, I called the office and they told me that it wasn't necessary for me to be present for the work done because it was in the front yard and I could either leave a check or call them with a credit card number once the services were complete. As promised, they came back two days later and finished the job. They did a nice job cleaning up and the price they charged me matched the estimated cost exactly. I would feel comfortable recommending Tree Tech Services to my friends and family.

Overall adequate. Didn't remove any exposed roots on smaller tree. They broke off one sprinkler head. Trees were in back yard. They weren't too careful in removing cut branches Dragged tree limbs rubbed across corner of house, so large section of paint on corner of the house was damaged, They also dragged limbs across rock border next to sidewalk, so small rocks were dragged out into driveway and not cleaned or returned to border on sideyard.. This was the cheapest of three estimates. Still cheapest with repair of damages.

They pruned it back as much as possible without killing the plant, as requested. However, I would have preferred that they shaped it better than they did. Also, they seemed to want to haggle about the price rather than have a set range of pricing for similar jobs.

They are neat and clean in their work. They are quick to respond and get out to take care of your need. When they're done, it's almost like you couldn't tell that they were even there.

They're very punctual. They don't do things that probably don't need doing. For instance, "I thnk that tree might be pruned now, but, I'd wait another year." So, they don't twist things on you. They're very pleasant and positive. They call ahead to make sure I'm home. They're pretty good about that. The price is pretty right on. I think they're okay. I've never been overcharged. They seem to do fine. I'm no expert in the tree business. They do well. They're very professional. I will use them again in the future if needed to.

I was very impressed with their services and the only reason I stopped using them is because they told me that there weren't enough customers in my area, but that's starting to change and I'm looking foward to using them again.

It's been several years since I have used them because we only do every 4-5 years. They trimmed a large Italian stone pine in our front yard, and it is about 90 feet tall. They were prompt. They are arborists, and they are schooled in this process. They did a wonderful job on the tree. They had seniors rate. They did an excellent job. It is not the first time; we have been using them for years. In fact the same guy comes every time.

They were nice, courteous, clean, and they got the job done.

I give them all A's. They were punctual, cleaned up well and did a good job. They had a competitive price.

tree tech was prompt, efficient, and provided the exact service the were hired for.we thought there was deadwood left on the cherry tree that could have been removed but perhaps was left on for the tree's benefit. we were impressed in the manner in which this contractor trimmed and raised the canopy of our large oak tree.

They provided an estimate that was the lowest of three bids. The estimate was detailed as to what they were going to do.

I was very disappointed with the work that was done on both trees. The silver maple was thinned as expected except for a section over my neighbor's house which instead of being thinned a bit more was ftrimmed less that the rest of the tree. But the main problem that I had was that there were stubs left throughout the tree. I counted almost 20 stubs. The Trident Maple also had problems. I had asked that the tree be thinned but it looked like they had pruned the tree like a bush, it looked like a little ball. Not only was the appearance a shock, but when I looked a bit more closely, I saw that almost every cut was jagged and looked as if it had been torn rather than cut. The arborist came back out but said that there was no probIem other than 2 branches that could have been removed from the Silver Maple. I then called and spoke to a supervisor who told me, as the arborist had, that they leave stubs on purpose. I told him that I had read several articles that say that ISA standards for pruning trees state and quot;Do not leave stubs.and quot; And I reminded him that the permit I had been required to get for the Heritage Maple stated that ISA standards be followed. He told me they would remove the stubs if I insisted but that it would ruin my tree. I asked that he come out and look at the trees. He was to get back to me. I did not hear back from him and after 2 weeks called The Department of Urban Forestry, who had issued the permit. They came out and looked at the Heritage Maple and agreed that the stubs were not ISA standard and said they would call Tree Tech asking them to correct the problem. Tree Tech workers and supervisor came out to and quot;take care of the stubs.and quot; The supervisor had a very condescending attitude saying he was asked by Urban Forestry to and quot;just do what I wanted,and quot; then he debated every cut. I finally I gave up after seeing that the worker was simply making shorter stubs. The arborist had told me the workers had been trained to leave stubs; and it appeared that for whatever reason, they would not do otherwise. One of the workers said the cuts on he Trident Maple were either done with the wrong tool or a very dull tool, and that nothing could be done short of going through the entire tree and shortening the branches further. I was very disappointed with the quality of the work and with the way I was treated, especially since I had used Tree Tech 3 years ago and thought I had a tree service I could depend on. in 3 years I will have to start over and try again to find a quality arborist.

I've had Tree Tech in the past and they've been great. I went with a different provider last year and was really disappointed by the quality of the job (I had to have them back out two times) and the poor customer service. This year I had Tree Tech back out and was pleased through the whole process. Michelle in the office is personable and helpful. They were able to come out and do our fruit tree pruning within two days of my initial call. Ruben came out for the estimate and was knowledgable and friendly. I had a few requirements that I wanted fulfilled and he made sure that he communicated this to the work crew. The job looked great when they were done. I will definitely have them back again.

I just signed up for Angie's List to get some contractors for a new home we've purchased in Roseville. Two days and this service has paid for itself. I didn't realize some of the people we've used for years are listed and would love to give some positive feedback to places like Tree Tech. We've had Tree Tech Services come out to our Elk Grove home for about five years now, every January/February. They have always come to give us a fair estimate, regardless that we have the same trees and property. They are very professional in setting up dates for coming out to our home and getting the work done. One year we were out of town and when we got home our yard looked wonderful -- the work had been done exactly as we needed. We are moving to Roseville and will continue to use their service up there as well.

Very positive experience...I strongly recommend Tree Tech.
