Matrix completed a basement for my neighbor so we called for a design/estimate, I am glad we did they were professional, courteous and made themselves welcome guests in our home. They utilized the window wells to move materials as well as come-and-go, so there was minimal distractions to our day. My wife works from home and they were no bother. However some of the work completed was unnecessary and really expensive. I asked ahead of time to be provided with an estimate and they didn't comply. My basement includes a living room, and 1 bedroom. The water damage was located in one area yet they removed ALL doors, 10 to be exact, 2 feet of drywall, baseboards, carpet, and a porcelain sink! The doors didn't withstand water damage yet they were removed. When I asked the technician about the door and sink removal his response was, "the insurance will pay for the replacement." They charged my insurance 16,000 dollars! Please don't go with this company unless they provide you with a quote before they start the work. "
