Matrix Basement Finishing Madison

I had planned on finishing our basement myself. Matrix completed a basement for my neighbor so we called for a design/estimate, I am glad we did they were professional, courteous and made themselves welcome guests in our home. They utilized the window wells to move materials as well as come-and-go, so there was minimal distractions to our day. My wife works from home and they were no bother. We were impressed with the materials they used and appreciated their design ideas. We were also able to negotiate items for us to complete to help lower the total cost. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to remodel their basement.

Martin was efficient and professional, but also kind and caring. He was neat and careful not to get our house all messy. He was considerate of our privacy and was very focused on his job and getting done in a timely manner, but was friendly when we engaged him in conversation. He gave us what we had requested and it is beautiful and good quality. We are very pleased!

I am very pleased with Luis Quinonesâ workmanship and professionalism. He did the demolition, repair and installation of my walk-in shower. He maintained the work area very clean throughout the entire process and left everything spotless. It was done in a timely manner and I will request him again if I ever need any more work done.

Great overall experience. Matrix was able to design and do a whole basement in about 3 months time from start to finish. Having an available field project manager(Jim Thuerk) made a world of difference. Any issue or curveball was handled quickly and effectively by Jim and his team. Each trade was respectful to our home and easy to work with. The Builder Trend App kept our family informed of each task in real time. Overall, we know we paid a little more than we could have, but we feel we have a final product that matches the price. Great job.

Great experience. Construction went smoothly with each trade being respectful of our home. They cleaned up daily and removed construction debris regularly. The buildertrend app for seeing the schedule and communicating with the Matrix team was a plus. We are extremely happy with the results and withthe Matrix team.

I would highly recommend Matrix. We were given a price upfront and they stuck to the budget. The app they provided was great for knowing exactly what was to be completed and then they completed the project when they said they would. The supervisor was on the ball. He was readily available and would return my messages the same day. He personally inspected all the work and even had the contractors redo parts of the project when he was not satisfied with the work. 100% percent recommend them.

Matrix completed my basement and we are very pleased with the outcome! The Matrix team were all very personable and professional. Suzanna was always positive and quick with a resolution to any questions or concerns. David and Ron provided professional insight and were on site weekly to manage the trades that were working daily. The supplies were delivered promptly and put in the garage and each trade cleaned up daily before leaving. The design steps where great but they never actually started the work and ultimately canceled the contract when they could not/would not meet there obligations. wasted 4 months of my time and cost me extra money getting other things done for there timeline that apparently never mattered. now I am back at Square one.
