I hired On the Go for packing/moving services to help with a move within the same apartment complex. The movers were nice and the booking process was smooth. Given the very short distance of the move, I went with the basic insurance but their coverage is paltry. They damaged an expensive computer monitor beyond repair and only offered $15 for it. A wooden desk, filing cabinet, and outdoor table all have noticeable scrapes and damage. Other items were broken that were not well-packed and I'm sure there would have been more damage if I hadn't unpacked everything either the same day or the following day given the way that heavy items were packed in with delicate ones. Cables were also packed in different boxes from the items they went with, which has led to a lot of guesswork over which cord goes which what electronics. I've never had this many items destroyed or damaged. The damage wasn't apparent until after the movers had left. "We contracted with Bronze Star Moving who contracted with We-Haul moving. Initially to communication was good and our household items were picked up on Saturday, February 15th. After that the communication was horrible. We had 5 delivery dates and finally received our furniture and household items on February 24th. The communication was me calling them with little or no response. I contacted them on March 11th with damage to my furniture and missing items and have not heard a word. Would never use or recommend this company!!"
