On The Go Moving & Storage

It is going to cost as much as the packing/moving services to replace or repair the items that they destroyed or damaged. I hired On the Go for packing/moving services to help with a move within the same apartment complex. The movers were nice and the booking process was smooth. Given the very short distance of the move, I went with the basic insurance but their coverage is paltry. They damaged an expensive computer monitor beyond repair and only offered $15 for it. A wooden desk, filing cabinet, and outdoor table all have noticeable scrapes and damage. Other items were broken that were not well-packed and I'm sure there would have been more damage if I hadn't unpacked everything either the same day or the following day given the way that heavy items were packed in with delicate ones. Cables were also packed in different boxes from the items they went with, which has led to a lot of guesswork over which cord goes which what electronics. I've never had this many items destroyed or damaged. The damage wasn't apparent until after the movers had left. Even though there was decent service, this was overall the most disappointing experience I've ever had with movers and I will not be using On the Go again.

Onthego has saved my bacon more than once. They helped me with 2 quick moves with short notice, and easily set me up with storage when I was in between apartment settings. I can't tell you how much of a relief it was to be able to hire moving services and storage from THE SAME company. I recently decided to move out of state, and they were able to load up my storage items into an 11 foot van in 27 minutes and 16 seconds flat-- packed to the brim stem to stern. I was gobsmacked. There is no way I could have figured that all out on my own. They were friendly, professional and helpful from point A to Z, and regularly checked on me when I was sorting through my storage items just to make sure I was doing ok. The Manager Scott was consistently friendly and ready to help at a moment's notice. I would recommend this company to anyone trying to make a stressful move as easy as humanly possible. One box's contents were totally smashed, other items were damaged, a set of keys to our old house were never returned, no one is responding to emails.

I was apprehensive about the moving procedure but as the team took control, all of my concerns were taken care of. Everything went off without a hitch!

They showed up on time and ready to work, and took very good care of my things. Took the stress out of what would have been a huge ordeal. More importantly, they were affordable. If you’re looking for a mover you should give them a call. I couldn’t have been happier with the service they provided, and I would definitely use them again.

The team of three has poor communication and we’re very slow. My quote for a 3 bdrm and 2 ba house move from Seattle to Kirkland took over 8 hours and was twice the quoted amount. They didn’t wrap items I specifically asked to be wrapped, like my antique chairs and my nightstands (which were scratched and corner chipped), and ended up with a ton of stuff in the basement that wouldn’t fit in the truck. I moved myself two years prior in the same size truck and was able to have all of my things loaded by movers without any issues and I haven’t acquired much in two years. They left a safe that I pointed out in the walk thru and repeatedly reminded them to put in the truck. Now I am stuck having to arrange a whole additional move (using a different company for sure). Do not ask them for help taking apart or putting together your bed frames. The lead guy was super slow on disassembly (meanwhile the other two had no guidance and didn’t know what to do or how to load the truck - one of them spent 20 mins wrapping a chair) and I had to ask him to re-check all the screws on the re-assembly as the frame was super loose and would have fallen apart. The company doesn’t seem to care about the major inconvenience leaving half my stuff, including a safe that I cannot lift, has caused me. Would not recommend this company or get a very detailed estimate and hold them to the hours agreed upon. Don’t sign the ending paperwork unless you are sure they moved all the items you needed moved, as they will not care to make it right afterwards.

Came right on time. Swiftly loaded the truck with my stuff and took very good care of my personal belongings. Super friendly and hardworking staff. The great positive attitude throughout the entire move. That was a pretty cool experience being so high up there! So happy after using these guys. Recommend using them in a heartbeat!

We had a great experience with our move! They were available within a week's notice, they called before they arrived, and they were very accommodating to our needs. The customer service before, during, and after the move was wonderful. They were very responsive and the price was very reasonable. We had three movers, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently.

We were devastated that On The Go Moving and Storage lost a large number of our belongings. They acknowledged that one of our nine wooden storage vaults were missing (lost or stolen). It has been over a year and we have not been compensated. Hiring this company was a huge mistake.

We regret trusting this company with our possessions. On March 26, 2020, On the Go Moving & Storage was hired to move our belongings from our home in Woodway, Washington to their storage facility in Redmond, Washington. We agreed to pay $390/mo for the company to store our possessions in their facility until we were ready to move them. On November 2, 2020 we went to the Redmond facility to retrieve our possessions, only to discovered that a significant number of items were missing (one large vault of items). Since that time, we have worked in good faith with the employees of the company to find our missing possessions, but all efforts have failed and they have refused any reasonable settlement for more than 10% of our home's contents. We strongly recommend that you not use this company.

On The Go handled a short move of a studio apartment to a condo unit for me in June. I had 2 movers and one truck, with a ~10 minute drive between places. The movers were pleasant to work with and got to work quickly. I did all the boxing myself, so I only needed furniture, larger objects, and boxes moved. The move went smoothly until the end of the experience. I had asked that they re-mount my HDTV on the entertainment center, which they were happy to do. However, once I looked at the TV in place, I noticed a huge damage spot where the screen had been smashed. This was not mentioned to me by the movers, and I had to bring it up to them as I was about to sign the final paperwork. When I asked about it, they admitted that they noticed it took a hit when it was packed into a 'speed-pack' box and rolled down the ramp. I was very disappointed that this wasn't disclosed to me as part of the wrap up - it felt like they were trying to hide this issue from me. I recall seeing how the TV was packed into the box by them, and it was placed in vertically, wrapped in a moving blanket, which didn't seem very secure. The mover did take a photo of the damage with a note that it would be passed along to the main office, but I had to take the step of reaching out myself a few days later to get a claim started. The main office was quick in processing my claim, and offered me slightly more than what the base insurance (weight based) would have covered, which was appreciated. Overall I had a fairly positive experience, but I'm still out $600+ on a new TV, so I'd recommend if you do use these services, consider moving the more expensive electronics yourself if possible.

These guys were excellent!!! We were planning a move from Bellevue to Bellingham and from the first contact and planning on the phone with Theo, to the execution with Jackson and his team, I cannot say enough kind words about them. They were efficient and polite, helpful and just really, REALLY good at their job. They treated my belongings like they were theirs, nothing soiled and not one broken item!!! NOT ONE!!!! I have never moved and not had one broken item! They moved quickly so as not to milk the clock on the hourly cost, but were careful every step of the way. I highly recommend this company! THEY WERE AMAZING! They made my move pleasant in a time when moving could have been very stressful. They were Covid safe and customer service oriented! If you need to move you really should pick these guys! They were great!.

The worst moving experience of my life! On the Go put a MASSIVE GASH in the wall of my brand new home, damaged a $10K table, and took no absolutely no responsibility. I hired On the Go to move a few large items that I wouldn't be able to handle myself, namely a heavy wood table and an upright piano. When I booked the appointment, On the Go assured me that they had experience moving pianos and I agreed to a $125 moving. On the day of the move, I knew something was wrong as soon as the crew got to work. It took 3 men 30 minute minutes to move the piano 10 feet. At that point, the foreman informed me that, in fact, the crew that he had chosen for the move had no experience moving pianos (clearly they were trying to cut corners in order to maximize their upside). The foreman told me they were going to bring a new crew and offered to comp me for what he promised would be a 30-minute transition. In fact, it took about an hour for the new crew to arrive. From what I could see, the new crew was just as much of a disaster as the first. They didn't measure the piano before they moved it, so a job that had taken A1 Piano Movers 15 minutes took them 90 minutes. As they dragged the piano out of the apartment, they damaged a tile in our old apartment, which our old landlords are charging us 100 dollars to replace. Here's the kicker: When they brought the piano into the living room, they lost control of it and allowed it to fall creating a MASSIVE GASH in our brand new wall. They did a horrendous job of patching it up and offered to match the paint and repair it. They never followed through on that. At that point, I realized that they had put about a dozen scratches in our 10K dollar dining room table because they had neglected to wrap it before they set it down in their moving van. For this, they handed me a bill of $850. I called the company and told them that I wouldn't pay this bill until I could speak with the owner. I couldn't imagine that anyone would ask to be paid for such poor service. I was wrong. A week later after hearing nothing from the owner, I received a call from a collection agency. Thanks to On The GO, I have a damaged table, a hole in my wall, a bill for 100 dollars from my old management company, and a bill for $850.
