Harts Services tried really hard to convince me to buy a new hot water heater instead of just fixing the valve -- they wanted to turn a $300 job into a $3000 one. Getting them to do the work they said they'd do was like pulling teeth. They inspected the plumbing under my house and found leaks but refused to fix just those pipes. They wanted to repipe the whole house instead, to the tune of ~$30k. They offer a maintenance inspection service which sounds great but now I know that if they found small issues they either wouldn't report the problem or would refuse to fix it. They advertise that their customer service is amazing but you'll have to argue with them. I hate to think of all the people they've hustled."
